Where were you yesterday?" Lora asked me as I sat down next to her in Math.
"I was out" I said taking my books out
"Well, Bailey and I came and we dropped off the stuff for the party tomorrow. We put the stuff in the spare room downstairs" she said. I had given them the key to the house so they could finish the stuff for the party. "The football team is going to help us put up the stuff this afternoon, for tomorrow" Lora said, I nodded
At lunch, Mat and his friends were there at our table, we were all discussing my birthday tomorrow but my head was somewhere else. Kaia was on my mind, I just really wish she comes tomorrow, I missed her so much already and she only left yesterday. I don't know, I guess her presence made me feel some kind of way, a good and bad way.
I needed to take my mind of her, fast. I took Mats hand "let's go downstairs" I whispered to him, so that nobody else could hear me, He smirked and we both got up.
Mat and I went to the basement, it's a room for the cheerleaders and the football players to hang out and we had a quickie. After that the bell rang and we both went to class
After school, Lora, Bailey and I went shopping for something to wear for tomorrow night. "So, are you going to tell us where you've been disappearing off to lately?" Bailey said as I picked out a black dress. "I don't know what youre talking about" I said, Lora rolled her eyes
"come on, we've been best friends since kindergarten, we know you and we know something is going on" Lora said, "well I guess you guys don't know me that well cause nothing is going on, seriously" I said.
"Your like the worst liar ever. We know what's going on" Bailey said
"what's going on then?"
"We saw you, we saw you at the cafe with Kaia Lutz" Bailey said
"We saw the flirting" Lora said
"And the kissing too" Bailey added
Well.....shit
"You know, I knew something was up but I didn't think you were fucking Kaia Cabrera Lutz like that didn't cross my mind at all, i didn't know you were gay! I mean it doesn't matter that you are cause your still you but I just never saw any of this coming, ever"

"I didn't see it coming either but shit.....it happened" Bailey said
I just stood there and looked at their shocked faces, as if everything they had just said was all a dream. "We'll talk about this later but right now we need to find something to wear." Lora said.
We finished shopping and we were now walking in McDonalds to grab something to eat.
"So, tell us everything" Bailey said as soon as we sat down. "Okay fine but this stays between us" they both nodded and I trusted them.
"She just came to my house on Monday and we started talking and she told me she liked me and yeah. I didn't even know I like girls but I found myself liking her presence and her touch......and her. I like her.." I said, admitting it more to myself than to them.
" I mean who wouldn't go gay for Kaia, she's like a walking goddess." Bailey said. I laughed at the oh so dramatic blonde "Bailey chill. I'm guessing Mateo doesn't know about this?" Lora asked. I shook my head no
"well are you going to tell him?"
"No, I'm not. I don't know what I'm going to do really" I said
"Well don't date both of them and be a cheater, your better than that" Lora said
I nodded, she was right.
"Where is Kaia now?" Lora asked as we were eating our food. "She's gone, she left saying she had to go somewhere"
"So she's not coming tomorrow?"
"I don't know" I said
"I hope she does, I have a million questions for her, a million" Bailey said.
We spent two hours at McDs and we left at about six pm late and we went to my house.
Mat and his friends came over to help the girls set up the stuff for tomorrow while I sat in my room upstairs and finished my homework. My phone rang on the bed side table and I took it, it was Kaia
K- hey
Z- Kaia
K- how was your day
Z- it was good I guess, yours?
K- I missed you, so much
Z- why are you not here then
K- I really wish I was but I can't
Z- why not
K- I wish I could tell you but I can't, you'll just have to trust me
Z- why should I trust you
K- why shouldn't you?
Z-(sighs) are you coming back tomorrow?
Silence.
Z- Kaia, are you there?
K- yeah I'm here
Z- are you coming tomorrow?
K- I wish I could but I just, I don't think I can
Z- why not? Can't you just quickly teleport from where you are to here just to wish me a happy birthday
K- I wish I could bu--
Z- but you can't. I get it, I'm not that important to you
K- don't say that, you are important to me okay, more important than you think you are
Z- if that's so true then why can't you be here for me tomorrow?
K- Zara, I just can't co--
Beep. I dropped the call and put my phone on silence and charged it. Kaia called again four times but I didn't answer it. I finished doing my homework and went downstairs to check on the guys.
"What have you done to my house?" I said as I walked in the lounge to see it had been switched up and turned into a club looking like area.
"We upgraded it babe" Mat said, coming to wrap his arm around my shoulders. "Let's go see the backyard" we walked out of the doors that led to the backyard and there were lights hung up, tables were sat up and it looked great.
"Have to say, you guys have done a great job. This is going to be the party of the year" I said as we got back inside the house.
"We're happy we could help" Justin said "let's go fellas" the guys left and Mat gave me a smooch before he left. Bailey, Lora and I ordered some pizza and got some junk food and went to the movie room to watch a movie. "I was going to go talk to you in your room but I heard you were on the phone before I could enter so I didn't wanna disturb you cause you were talking Kaia, right" Lora said.
I nodded "she's not coming tomorrow" I said. "Did she tell you why?"
I shook my head no
"Well, that's just not cool" B said, Lora nodded
"Anyway, Lora what's up with you and Justin? You know he like you right" she smiled and looked away. "Oooooh, somebody catching feels!" B said, Lora rolled her eyes at her.
"I'm not, okay. we're just friends"
"Well he wants to be more than friends and you should give him a chance cause he's a great guy" I said, Bailey nodded to what I was saying. "Okay fine, I'll give him a chance" Lora said, B and I gave each other a high five.
