*Back on Earth*
Zara's pov
It's been two months since we last got back. I was in New York, Bailey was in Japan for the opening of our store there and Lora was filming a movie here in New York and my girlfriend was, well. I don't know where she keeps disappearing to, honestly. I last saw her yesterday when she took me to lunch, she left saying she will be back, not telling me where she was going and I assumed she was going to work at the Assassin's place to do all that evil guys killing stuff so I just said okay.
Everybody was happy from what I was seeing, Lora's career had taken off, she's been nominated for an Emmy for best actress in a movie she did with Sandra Bullock, which will take place next week Friday. She has also been rumored to be having a thing with co-star Harry Styles and she seemed happy.
We didnt bring up the stuff that happened at Qufix with her and Gia, we figured she would tall about it when she was ready to
Bailey and I have put our company on the map, together we have been dominating the fashion industry with my designs, Bailey of course being the brains and getting us collaborations with other big fashion companies like our collab with NIKE that earned us millions cause of my designs that i did for them and a few that we had collaborated on. We deopped our colection with the collab with nikey which really blew up and was worn by a lot of celebrities and instagram models.
My dad had also just retired from his companies and has handed them over to me but Bailey is mostly in charge of them cause she makes way better decisions than me, my little brother has just started middle school, still a nice and sweet boy and hopefully he will never change!!! Life is good right now.

I was sitting in my office writing down some ideas on notepad, responding to my emails when my assistant, Megan walked in.
"Miss San, uh there is a call on line four for you. The lady on the phone says she needs to talk to you about Kaia Lutz" I raised my eyebrow, confused.
I picked up the phone and pressed four.
Z- hello?
Unknown- Zara Santiago. My name is agent Sara Davis, I work for Hydra.
We know you are miss Lutz girlfriends and we've been trying to get ahold of the Cabrera twins for a while now. Our agents are outside your building to bring you to our office, we just want to ask a few questions. We are not trying to harm Kaia Lutz, this is urgent and we need your help. Please co-operate with us, we do not want any trouble.
I froze
I remembered Kaia had telling me once that Hydra will play nice but they don't have any good intentions at all, they will brutally beat you for answers, with that in mind i started to get scared
Unknown- Miss Santiago, please co-operate. We don't want to have to come in there and cause a scene.
The lady on the phone said
Z- I'll come out
Unknown- we will be waiting.
I dropped the call and quickly got up and made my way to my bag to get my phone.
I called Kaia, it rang and rang until it went to voicemail.
I looked through the glass in my office and looked down at the streets to see two black SUV cars parked outside with close to about 8 men in black suits standing next to the cars. I called Ian, he also went to voicemail.
At this point my breathing isn't in pattern, my hands are shaking. I called Bailey who answered.
B- what's up?
Z- Bailey! I'm in my office, there are some agents dressed in black outside the building saying they from Hydra and they just called me and told me to come with them to their headquarters! I tried calling Kaia but she didn't answer. They threatened to come in and take me if I don't
co-operate. Bailey I'm scared
B- oh my gosh. Uh, Zara you need to get out of there, right now. Ian is at the Apartment, I'll deive there as fast as i can and tell him to come get you. Just get out the office Zara, hide somewhere in the meantime.
I dropped the call with Bailey.
The phone on my desk started ringing and I grabbed my bag and quickly ran out my office.
"Megan, if anyone comes up looking for me, tell them you don't know where I am"
She nodded "yes man. Is everything okay miss Santiago" I shook my head.
"I'm fine, just don't tell anyone where I am Megan, you're in charge while im gone" I quickly ran to the door that leads to the steps and I took off my heels and ran up the stairs to the top of the building. I was on the fifth floor and the building had eight floors. I ran as fast as I could. I made it to the top floor and hid in the design room, behind the equipment we use for photoshoots.
I got down on the floor and sat down and crossed my legs, I was sweating, my heart was beating really fast.
I took my phone out my pocket and dailed Kaia's number again but she still didn't answer. Tears were forming in my eyes, I need her right now and she won't even answer her phone.
My phone rang
Bailey
B- Zara, are you okay? I'm almost at the hotel just hang in there. I just hope Ian is there God
Z- Bailey, I'm so scared.
I heard a noise coming from outside the door, it sounded like people talking and I quickly dropped the call and backed up behind the studio equipment.
The talking died down
My phone rang again, it was Lora.
L- hello, Zara. It's me Gia. Lora told me what happened, where are you I will teleport there
B- I'm at the top floor, at the design room.
G- okay, I'm coming okay
She dropped the call and five seconds later. I heard Gia's voice shouting my name out from out the door. I quickly got up "I'm here Gia"
I opened the door to see her standing there. The elevator door opened and two men in black looked up at us and reached down to their waist. Gia quickly grabbed my hand as they took their guns out and teleported us out of there.
Darkness.
I opened my eyes and we were in Loras living room
"Zara!" Lora's voice came from behind me. I turned around to see my friend running towards me with tears in her eyes. "I'm so sorry, are you okay? Are you hurt?" She asked
I hugged her and the tears just started falling. "Shhh, it's okay" we sat down on the couch and Lora hugged me
