Liam

After Kaia left yesterday, I decided to stay until tomorrow in Hawaii.
Bailey and Lora would call a lot, my dad face timed me a lot too, asking how Hawaii is. I told him it was nice but I didn't tell him Kaia left when he called this morning.
Kaia had met my dad a day before prom and they seemed to get along really well, dad is very accepting of the fact that I'm gay. Still sounds weird saying it.
I had just finished having lunch, I was walking along the beach with earphones in, my journal in my hand.
I found a nice spot in front of the beach at sat down and started drawing.

I was focused on drawing the view I had of the ocean when someone from behind me tapped my shoulder.
I turned around and saw a guy looking at me, he had sleek dark hair and a jawline that is so defined, he looked young, probably my age. He was good looking and he looked very familiar.
He said something but I didn't hear him.
"What?" I asked
He pointed to my ears and I remembered that I had earphones on.
I quickly removed headphones and looked up at him again.
"Nice drawing" he said, with a small smile on his face.
"Oh thank you" I said.
"My name is Liam Ferrari" he said, extending his hand for me to shake.
I took it
"Zara Santiago" I said
"William Santiagos daughter. I don't know if you still remember me or not but, my father used to work with your father when I was younger and I used to come to your house sometimes for dinner"
my eyes widened
" little Liam! Oh my god!" I jumped up and hugged him
"It's been years! How are you, oh my gosh you've grown, you're all big now" he smiled
"I'm good, how are you?" He asked
"I'm good now that I've seen you" I said
"We should catchup after my photoshoot, how about dinner later tonight?" He said, he took out his phone and I put my number in.
"Dinner sounds good" I said. "Okay, I'll call you and I'll pick you up later. It was good to see you Zara" he kissed my cheek.
"It was good to see you too Liam" I said. He walked off and got inside his car.
Damn, Liam and I used to be friends when I was young, we went to the same school and his dad used to be partners with my dad but his dad died and I never saw him again after the death of his father. I thought I'd never see him and my dad never answered me when I asked him where Liam was.
