Zara's pov
"Well, my dad died and I moved to Australia, where I had a few relatives. I had no parents and I was this depressed child. I missed you in Australia, I never said goodbye to you because I was so sad and I didn't want to you to see me cry cause I had a bit of a crush on you growing up" Liam said.
I was in a nice restaurant in Hawaii with Liam, who looked amazing, puberty hit him good.
We were talking about our childhood memories and how everything is in our lives, catching up.
I found out he models and acts and he loves traveling, he was still the same Liam from when we were kids, kind and full of adventure.
"I kind of knew that" I said
"How did you know?" He asked
"Your dad told my dad that you have a crush on me and my dad told me and we laughed about it" I said.
He looked embarrassed and it was so cute
"I can't believe Joshua sold me out(Joshua his father ) . Your dad laughed huh? Well, that's not a good sign, he probably never saw me marrying you or anything so he laughed. Oh shit, now I really don't stand a chance with you" he said. I laughed at his face which was just priceless.
"So are you seeing anybody right now?" He asked, I was about to answer but my phone rang.
"Excuse me" I looked down at it.
It was Alex.
Z- hello?
A- Zara, I don't know where you are or what your doing but please answer your girlfriends calls. She was here at my place a couple minutes ago, raging, literally throwing things everywhere asking me where you are. I told her I don't know and she lifted me up against the wall with one fucking hand! I swear her eyes went red at some point, like blood red. I don't want to die anytime soon Zara, that bitch is crazy and every time she around. I see my family crying at my funeral in my head.
~ she was talking so fast, panic was in her tone.
Z- look Alex, I'm sorry about what happened. I'll talk to her
Beep. Beep.
A new call was coming through, I looked up at Liam apologetically. "I have to answer another one" I said, he gave me a small smile
"it's okay, I'm going to go to the restroom quickly" he said getting up.
I answered Kaia's call
K- Zara, where the fuck are you? I went to the hotel, you weren't there. Went to your house, your friends and your dads, do you know how worried I was!
Z- why did you have to go and harass Alex?
K- I thought she knew where you were but she just wasn't telling me.
Z- stop calling me and stop looking for me.
I dropped the call.
I was expecting her to call again, multiple times like she always does but she didn't. Which was odd.
Liam came back and sat down and our food came.
"So, are you? Are you single ?" He asked again, his face veaming not being able to hide the hope in his eyes. I sighed and looked up at him.
"yes, yes I am"
