Third person pov
At the Creed headquarters, in London. Kaia was pacing back and forth in the room six of the assassins were in the room including Ian, watching their leader. "Fuck!" She screamed, picking the table up and throwing it at the wall, almost hitting Joseph. "Who did this! Who has her!" Kaia's eyes were red, anger was written all over her face and they all knew that blood was to be shed when she looked like this.
"Quentin King, messiah" Joseph answered
"Where is he located?" She asked
"we do not know" Isaac answered in a low voice, scared of what was to come next.
"Search every corner of the world if you have to, call out the other assassins to help I don't care but somebody better find my fucking mate or all hell will break loose" Kaia said sitting down.
They all nodded and teleported out of the room. Kaia closed her eyes, took a deep breath trying to calm down so her eyes got back to their normal color and tried to connect with Zara using the Esen stone she had given her, hopefully Zara had it on.
~Zara? Can you hear me? It's Kaia, are you okay?
She spoke in her head, trying to reach out but there was silence.
~ Zara? close your eyes and speak in your head if you hear me
Silence.
Kaia sighed, she could feel her heart raging, panicking and scared.
~ I can hear you
Zara's voice answered in her head. Oh the voice she was so scared she would never hear.
~ Zara, are you okay. Are you hurt? Where are you?
Kaia asked, panicking.
~ I'm fine, I don't know where I am but I'm inside a big house in the woods, with white walls. Please come and get me out of here, I want to go home
~ I'm going to find you Zara, I promise.
Silence.
~Zara are you there? Zara?
She couldn't hear her voice anymore.
Derek appeared in the room "messiah, we found her" Kaia jolted up and teleported with Derek. They appeared behind a tree, she looked in front of her and there was a huge white mansion in front of her. "They are expecting us" Joseph said.
"For the ones we love and for the ones that love us, we fight. We work in the darkness to serve the light, we are Assassins" Kaia said, putting her hoodie on. She walked in front, five of the assassins behind her.
"Where is she!" She yelled at the man as she tightened her grip around his neck "she's dead" he said before laughing. Kaia's eyes turned red, she extended her blades and cut his neck, blood gushing out of his neck. She looked around the room, the assassins were fighting off the men, a couple of them were lying on the floor dead.
"upstairs" Kaia said
Joseph nodded and they both headed upstairs while the others stayed downstairs fighting off the men.
"Zara?" Kaia's called out
"Kaia, I'm here" she heard her voice coming from the room in the corner.
Joseph followed behind her and out of the opened door next to them, a man jumped on Kaia, aiming for her head but missing and stabbing her arm. Kaia took the knife out of her arm and threw it on the floor "kill him while I get Zara" she ordered Joseph, he nodded and looked at the man who threw a punch at him and missed, Kaia walked to the room while Joseph fought.
The door wouldn't open "I need you to back away from the door okay" she yelled "okay" Zara yelled back.
Kaia kicked the door with her strength and sent it flying across the room, she walked in and there she was, standing there with her blue innocent beautiful eyes, tears falling from them .
"I'm sorry" Zara whispered to Kaia, Kaia looked at her confused and then she felt a sharp blade enter her from behind.
"Nice to see you again Lutz" Quentin's voice said from behind her. Kaia pulled out her blades and was ready to turn around and slice Quentin when Daisy appeared, she stood behind Zara, holding a knife to her neck. "I wouldn't do that if I were you" Quentin said.
"You can kill me but let her go, she's done nothing wrong. I'm the one who killed your brother" Kaia said "I want you to suffer, suffer the way I suffered after leaving me then killing my brother in front of me" Daisy said.
Kaia looked down at the floor, she never meant for her to see her kill her brother but she did "he was going to kill innocent people so he could reduce the population of the earth, he was trying to play God! Somebody had to stop him, if I hadn't, millions of people would be dead right now because of the virus he was going to spread. The man was a fucking monster and I wouldn't hesitate to kill him again if I had to" Kaia said.
She felt the blade that had gone in her lower back be pulled out, only to feel it go inside her chest again "he was trying to save the world" Quentin whispered in her ear. Kaia's vision had gone blurry, she tried teleporting out of the place but she couldn't. "The blade is made out of Kryptonite, you won't be able to use your powers" Quentin said.
Kaia could feel her body getting weak, the knife sucking all energy and power from her she fell to the ground. Zara watched her fall, tears fell from her eyes "Kaia!" she tried getting down in the floor but Daisy pulled her wrist roughly.
Joseph and Ian appeared in the room, Ian saw his sister lying down on the floor, pale. His heart stopped beating and his eyes turned red "you!" He turned to Quentin who pulled out his gun but Ian had already reached him and grabbed it and threw it on the floor.
He took his blades out "for my sister" he threw him against the wall and stabbed him in the heart. He turned to Daisy, he turned to Joseph who had a strong grip around Daisy's neck "take her to the cells" Joseph nodded then disappeared.
Ian looked down at Zara, who was crying uncontrollably, her hands cupped around Kaia's face. He leaned down and pulled the Kryptonite blade out of her "We have to get her to the Rising waters. Her soul is still alive" Ian lifted Kaia's limp body up "hold my hand" Zara held his hand and they teleported.
They appeared in a cave, there was a round pool that had the most beautiful blue water in the cave. The only source of light in the cave was a big hole at the top that allowed the Suns rays to reflect on the water. Ian slowly stepped inside the water with Kaia in his arms, he put her in the water and let her float, the water started to become brighter around her body.
"Zara, come" she stepped in the water and looked at Kaia, she looked dead and the tears couldn't stop falling from her eyes at the thought of Kaia dying.
"The water will heal her, but it's going to take time, her soul is not dead but her body is, the water will heal it then she will wake up but she will be weak and the only thing that will help her is your blood, the blood of her mate will fully awaken her. We are not vampires but in a way we are related to them" he said, Zara nodded.
" please watch over her while I go and clean up the mess that was made back at that house" Ian said "okay" Zara answered.
"Look Zara, Kaia didn't mean for any of this to happen. She wanted to tell you about being an Assassin but she was scared you wouldn't want to love a killer. She loves you and the last thing she wanted to do was get you hurt" Ian said before he disappeared. I sat on the edge of the pool, legs crossed as I watched Kaia float, thinking and thinking.
