Prom..

Zeke's POV

It's the night of the prom.. Kara has shut the Gang out, We are beck together. Though i have a feeling that the whole gang hates her. Kara's not here yet. She is coming with Mike. I hear a crash...I look over to my right. Uriah dropped a glass. I just shake my head and sigh.

Kara walks with Mike by her side. I'm pretty sure everyone's eyes are glued to her. She doesn't look like my Sister at all!! Shes changed ALOT and I don't like it. But i don't like a lot of things. I look over to the gang and the have shocked and disgusted faces.

Time paces on, people dancing their heart out. Time to announce the prom princess, prince, king and queen....This years princess is....Tris Prior! Prince goes to Uriah Pedrad! This years Queen goes to.. Kara Pedrad... And the King goes to Mike Graham!! I grin like mad! But soon enough that smile disappears when i see a big bucket above Kara. The Gang are smiling. I look at Mike and he sees me look i point to the bucket. He looks up and shock wipes his grin. Suddenly the bucket tips. I cover my eyes with my hands.

Mike's POV (Bet you didn't see that coming)

Just in time SPLASH!. NOOOO that was meant for Kara! Marlene shouts. why? i shout back because she shut everyone out! SHE won't talk to anyone but you! Shauna says Yeah, because he knows everything about me! You guys just think that i'm fine and that everything is fine. You don't push me. You let me keep things to my self. Every day i think "I'm not worth it. i never have. I never will be." Kara says before i could. Kara, say that paragraph you said to me. I whisper to her. Okay, I'm worth it, i always have been, i always will. My story isn't over yet. I'm so tired of pretending life doesn't absolutely scare me. Every second is something new. Everything is non stop but i wouldn't change it for the world. Just a while ago i thought life was live and die but that's not it at all. Life is for living and cherishing those tiny moments forever not for doing this to people who need to shut everyone out to feel better. Everyone has a chapter that don't want to read out loud some times you just have to turn the page. once Kara finished to hug her. I pull away. Zeke Uriah there's someone to see you. Just on cue someone walks in, in a military uniform.

Max POV (I know Max isn't their dad but he's the only person i could think of)

I wait patiently for Kara to says words. I hear her finish. I get up and walk to the door. I'm in.. Zeke and Uriah come running to me. Boys I'm done in the military. I'm staying here at home. I say. YAY!! Zeke and Uriah say in unison.

Kara's POV

I walk down the step and stand next to Uriah. Everyone is silent. Thank you Kara! Max says No, thank you Max not only for saving countries but saving me. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you.
