He wraps the tattoo in cling film and a bandage. I go home and sit on the couch. Soon enough i hear footsteps coming down the stairs Hello Kara! Max says hey max I say A little birdy told me you got a tattoo. He says well, that little birdy is correct. I say What is the tattoo? He asks its 3 heart beats. The last heart beats of my family I reply. He smiles sadly. He motions me to come to him. I get up and go to him. He hugs me and i hug back. Tears silently fall. I sniffle.
MAX'S POV
I motion Kara to come to me. I hug her, she hugs back. Hanna and Zeke come out of the kitchen. They look confused as to why i am hugging Kara. I mouth 'family' They nod.
