This round was originally going to be 1 chapter but I decided it was too long, 

Things begin to get spicy~

"Ow." Was the word Sonic awoke to. He looked around the room, confused of where he was, what was going on, and who had said "Ow".

Sonic waited until his eyes adjusted to the dark. As he was waiting, he managed to pull out the events of whatever happened at Eggman's lair, from his mind. "Right," he thought, "we all fell for Eggman's trap, and must have tranq'd us all."

The thought made Sonic uncomfortable as he nervously scanned the room. It had what appeared as white walls and dark corners. There were figures held in restraints, his friends, he realized.

He could just barely make out who was who. Amy to his right, then Tails, Knuckles, Rouge and–

He let out a muffled scream trying not to draw attention, Shadow, staring right at him.

"Am I seriously that scary, Sonic?" He hissed. Sonic turned bright red from embarrassment, thankful that the room was dark. "Well usually people don't stare at someone in the dark in a scary situation like this!", Sonic spat under his breath.

"I heard that!" Shadow growled back.

"Why are we whispering??" Amy whispered. "I don't know Ames'" Sonic replied, speaking normally now.

"My shoulder hurts." She complained. She touched her shoulder wincing as doing so.

Amy looked at the spot on her shoulder of where she'd been tranq'd, it was pretty irritated and sore.

She smirked when she'd seen Sonic blush at Shadow. Not all secrets could be hidden in the dark. -v-

Sonic yanked at the chains on his ankle and neck. They definitely were designed to keep hedgehogs captive.

He gave up and began to wait in silence for everyone else in the circle to awaken.

They all sat in the eerie silence, not knowing what was to come; Until Dr. Eggman appeared from a monitor screen, a little above the center of the room.

"Why hello!" Eggman said, clearing his throat to gain the twin tailed fox's attention. Tails snapped his head up murmuring something before resting his head on his arms.

Eggman continued, "You're probably mad, confused and uncomfortable. Completely understandable." The test is going to begin shortly after I explain the rules."

"LET US GO, EGGMAN!" Knuckles shouted.

"We don't want to be in this stupid test!" Amy protested

"We won't cooperate in this joke!" Sonic added.

"I gave you the chance to leave you dimwits!" Eggman said. "Now," he said, calming himself, "There are six tests, one designed for each one of your specialties."

"What type of tests?" Shadow asked, raising his brow. Rouge nudged him. whispering something, before shutting up.

"If any of you try to escape or don't cooperate properly, one of you will be killed at random; which would be a shame since I took the time to design these tests." Eggman said.

Sonic's stomach churned at the thought of someone dying. "Why?" He asked, hoping his voice sounded stronger that his gut.

"Well," Eggman started,"After all the years you have defeated me, I finally decided to learn from my mistakes."
