Rouge awoke to an uncomfortable position, chained up like an animal again, she thought annoyed. She craned her neck, it was really sore.

Looking around, she saw a new room before her. There wasn't an empty space in the center of the room. It was white like the other, but with modern looking wire patterns ran up the walls and ceiling. She looked back towards the center, forcing her eyes to adjust and focus on a weird warped bulge thing. (10/10 description)

A glass bowl? A tube? She would find out soon. She rubbed her neck, the tranq dart, she thought. Looking around again, her eyes now adjusted, she saw five figures.

Frowning, she counted again. "Only 5..." she whispered, realizing that Eggman must have removed Tails.

It was a new order too. Herself, Amy to her right, then Knuckles, Sonic and Shadow to her right.

She didn't want to think about the elimination. Just thinking about made her shiver. A figure across from her slowly rose their head up, then jolting upwards yelling gibberish.

It was Sonic.

"Shhh!" She whispered, fearing Eggman would appear any minute.

The other three woke up, confused with Sonics yelling.

"EGGMAN DON'T HURT MY SONIC!" Amy screamed at the top of her lungs, flailing her limbs around.

Knuckles began coughing uncontrollably again.

So much for keeping the noise on the down low she thought. Rolling her eyes, Rouge tried to make small talk.

"So, what's up with the cough?" Rouge asked Knuckles, teasingly.

Knuckles turned, either annoyed or surprised, she couldn't tell.

"My torso just feels tight..." he said, rubbing his head. Definitely surprised, she thought amused.

"No dizziness?" Sonic asked.

"Why would it matter?" Knuckles asked.

"It's called internal bleeding, Tails told me once when I was punched in the gut badly." He said, frowning.

"No I'm in barely any pain, it's not like I'm dying."

A disturbing silence passed.

Suddenly a loud boom shook the whole room, startling everyone.

"What on earth was that?" Amy said.

"Who knows, maybe Eggmans getting his butt kicked for kidnapping us." Rouge said, a lightness in her tone.

"No! Shut up, I'm indestructible!" Eggmans voice said suddenly. He appeared on a hologram above the bugled warp in the center of the room.

Bright lights illuminated the room. Rouge could now clearly see. The room was white and grey, and the bulge looked like a large tube in the center of the group. It touched the ground up, until about a two foot gap for the small hologram of Eggman.

"So, this round is designed around Knuckles, endurance/strength in case you were wondering." He said beaming at his cleverness. Knuckles scowled.

He didn't like the thought of "endurance."
