Lena had been in the supermarket. Her mom fell off a ladder while trying to pack the bookshelves and ended up spraining her ankle badly. So Lena, being the good daughter she was, ended up going grocery shopping instead of her mother. Lena had been picking out apples in her somewhat-failed attempt to meet the minimum of 500 grams when a lemon sailed through the air and smacked right on the face.
