Inspired by Sarah J. Maas' Throne of Glass (TOG) and A Court of Thorns and Rose (ACOTAR) series! This can be made into a TOG/ACOTAR fanfic too!

She thought that mates were supposed to love and protect each other. Not sell them out to their enemy.

But here she was.

Betrayed. Heartbroken. Angry.

She was facing her mate whose face was contorted in pain as he looked at her. She growled at him lowly, the sharp tips of her elongated canines poking out from under her top lip slightly. Fury was coursing through her in waves and she struggled to keep it down. Her pointed ears were twitching slightly and body was trembling in anger.

She clenched her hand tighter on the shiny blade of her hunting knife, her blood dripping down her hand and decorating the pretty silver handle with red streaks. Her blood made contact with the ground and seeped into the soil, officially sealing the blood oath.

How dare her mate, the one who was supposed to cherish her and everything that came with her, sell her out and her kingdom's secrets to their enemy?

How dare he try to justify his cruel actions by telling her that he did it for her own benefit? That he did it for their own future?

She snarled at him, baring her teeth at him before announcing, "I promise you here, on the very hearth of my lands, that no matter how far away you are-"

I took a deep breath, looking straight into his eyes, "I will find you and I will kill you."
