Telly's was crowded like fuck.
I was taken aback by the flashing lights that hit myself, Iman, and Erin once we stepped foot inside.
"Sabrina! Sabrina! Hi! How are you?!"
"Whoa....okay hollywood" Iman teased, causing me to shoot her a quick side eye, before waving at the photographers.
"Can we get you by yourself?" One of the male photographers questioned as I quickly looked back at my girls. They both nodded, stepping to the side before I turned back around, giving them a fake smile, as they began to shoot away. I kept this fake smile on, as I was met with smiles and head nods. I felt a bit uncomfortable, especially in these new beige pumps. They'd been sitting in my closet for the longest, so pairing them with my silk, beige long sleeved top and some white high waisted jeans seemed to fit the best.
"Aight,lets get you and your friends now!" Another voice called out.
"Iman and Erin" I corrected, although they more than likely weren't listening.
They were too busy snapping.
Once done, we continued our way inside the large building, before Renell spotted us, the widest smile forming on her face, as she waved us over. She was with a rather large group of women, all whom looked like models.
Tall, thin, and dressed to the nines.
"Oh good...she's the only person I know in here" Iman said, as we made our way over.
"Oh my God you guys made it...hey" Renell greeted, giving us all hugs, ending with me.
"Hey, how you doing baby?" She questioned in my ear, as the loud sounds of Kendrick Lamar's Be Alright began to play.
"I'm good, I'm alright, how about you?" I replied, as she nodded while continuing to hug me.
I could feel the sympathy radiating from her body unto mine.
She knew.
"I'm good...amazing. I'm so happy you guys came, thank you" She said, causing me to smile just a bit.
"No problem, I wouldn't miss this for anything, thanks for inviting me again" I said.
"Aw of course...you welcome" Renell replied, quickly rubbing my back.
"You really should go talk to him" She said next causing me to scrunched my face up, before we stepped back.
"Okay, I want you to meet some of my girls" Renell said excitedly, as I nodded.
