Nodding his head, Rocky smirked a bit at the witty rhymes his friend Uzi, was currently spitting. The two were in London Town, hanging around outside, along with producer and friend, Metro Boomin'. The three, successful black men were all catching a nice vibe really, both Rocky and Uzi trading verses, while Metro sat in his car, laughing and shaking his head. Standing to the left of Uzi, head steady nodding, Rocky smirked, taking another hit of his blunt, nodding his head again. Despite a long day, from shooting for his bodega, meeting with fashion designers, linking up with a few London artists, and working on various features, Rocky was tired. The only thing keeping him up, was his very good marijuana and his friends positive spirits. His mind was filled with many things, number one being Blayne. He hadn't heard from her all day. When he did call, he was met with her voicemail twice, leaving messages each time, before focusing back on his work. At some point during the night, Rocky's phone died on him, prompting him to charge it in Metro's car.
After taking another hit, and passing it to Uzi, Rocky motioned for hisphone, to which Metro handed, as Rocky immediately powered it back on. While waiting, Rocky quickly threw his head back, before bringing it back down to see various notifications popping up.
"Yo... we should be recording this shit man" Uzi said, taking a long drag of the blunt before passing it back to Rocky, who nodded in agreement.
"Hell yeah bro...we gotta do that" Rocky said, after blowing smoke, now scrolling through his phone.
Most of his missed calls and texts were from Blayne.
"Ay whenever ya'll ready" Metro chimed.
"Shit, we can go later" Rocky suggested, taking another hit, and passing it back, before beginning to call Blayne, only to feel his phone vibrating in his hand.
Going for it, he immediately answered once seeing it was Blayne.
"Hey wassup? Was just just bouta call you" He greeted, only to be met with soft, sobs.
"Yo...hello?" He said again.
"Where...Where were you?" Blayne's wavering voice managed to question, as Rockys face scrunched up.
"What? What are you talking about?"
"Where are you?" She questioned again in a hushed whimper.
"I'm in London...what you mean? And what's wrong? What happened?" Rocky questioned next, now making his way down the street.
The phone went silent, as a loud whipping noise now filled his ears.
"Yo hello?"
"Hello?"
"Hel-'
"Where were you?!" Blayne shouted angrily now, cutting him off.
"I called you...I called you so many times...where were you?"
Rocky stopped his slow walking, as his heart began to beat out of control.
He just knew something was wrong.
