Blayne

"Ay! Ay! Yo! Yo, Yo you cheatin nigga dead ass!"

"What?! Das a draw four muthafucka!"

"Nigga, I know. You ain't even let a nigga get down yet doe! Wassup!"

Shaking my head, I found myself dropping it down, as more laughter filled the kitchen. I was cracking up so hard at this point, that I found myself leaning against the fridge for support. I was currently here at Rocky's mother Emani's house in Warren New Jersey. I'd been here for the past five hours, and I must say, it's been quite the day. From hanging with his brothers, cousins and interacting with them all.

"Yo, they have been arguing about that for the last ten freaking minutes yo" Ericka chuckled, shaking her head as well, before gently tapping my shoulder, so she could get to the fridge.

It was a semi full house, as myself, Rocky's sister Ericka, and her best friend Chloe, Rocky's two cousins Liyah and Jasmine, Rocky's two younger brothers Rodney, and Rico, Rocky's uncle Mario, and his wife Tamia were all over. Emani had barbequed earlier in the day, and after indulging in everything from barbequed chicken, steak, greens, Mac and cheese, cornbread, corn, and some shrimp, I ended my meal off with some wonderful strawberry cheesecake. Although I'd ate three hours earlier, I still found myself full. All in all, I had quite the fun traveling out here to hang with Rocky in a way more intimate setting than I was used too.

A year and some months ago, you couldn't tell me that I'd be at this man's mothers house, connecting and getting to know his immediate family.

The shit was still blowing my mind honestly. I knew it had to mean something incredible for Rocky to be comfortable enough to bring me around his family, and I was extremely thankful for this. Rocky's family was crazy as hell, but very very welcoming. They truly made me feel at home, and I could feel a sense of freedom take over. After all the personal shit that I've been through, it actually felt refreshing to just sit, smile, laugh, eat and be with my baby of course.

I felt free.

And speaking of babe, he was the one doing most of the yelling in the other room of the house. He and his brothers were playing uno, while Jasmine braided his hair. She was just about done, the last time I checked. It was quite funny seeing Rock with his actual hair out. As long as I'd been around him, I'd never ever seen him with out braids, so I made sure to have plenty pictures taken in my phone.

Rocky's hair was super long though, and well taken care of, but that didn't really come as much of a surprise. He'd made it a habit to keep bothering me every ten minutes, while myself, Emani, Ericka, Chloe, Liyah and Tamia cleaned up in the kitchen. We were wrapping and storing various foods in the fridge, before another silly 'disagreement' ensued between the brothers. Rodney and Rico were both producus of Rocky's father's second one marriage. Rodney was eighteen, while Rock.was sixteen.

Both were semi tall and lightskin, Rodney with back length braids, and Rico with a simple haircut.

They both literally looked like lighter versions of their father.

It was quite crazy.

"Aight den...aight den...I'ma come clean though, I'ma come clean" Rocky said next.

"Aight, let's do it" Rodney replied back.

A few seconds of silence ensued, before a loud slam on the table, followed by a cocky yell of Uno fell from Rocky's mouth, as loud laughter roared from the living room.
