"Dettie, I have a challenge for you," Birdo stated one morning. The two girls were FaceTiming each other and both of them were bored as heck.

"What?" Toadette questioned.

"For the rest of the day, talk in text speak as much as you can. Tumblr girl talk is included," Birdo grinned.

"Oh sure!" Toadette said.

"And I'll do it too, just for fun," Birdo added.

"Let's meet up at Peach's place. Daisy, Yoshi, and Toad will also be there," Toadette suggested. "And we will talk to all of them and to each other in text speak and tumblr girl talk."

"Ok, see you there!" Birdo ended the FaceTime call.

*one hour later*

"Omg, hey gurl!" Toadette said cheerfully when Birdo arrived at Peach's castle.

"Hey, bae!" Birdo exclaimed.

"You too?" Daisy groaned.

"One is already enough!" Yoshi complained.

"What up, bruh?" Birdo grinned.

"I totes love this place!" Toadette gushed.

"You've been here so many times though," Peach muttered.

"I know but like this place is so perf, I can't even!" Toadette squealed.

"Umm, can you stop now?" Toad asked.

"How about no," Toadette giggled. Peach cleared her throat and tried to change the subject.

"Well, I got this laptop case yesterday," Peach held up her laptop. The case was patterned with emoji faces.

"Omg, can you not?!" Birdo crossed her arms. "I've been wanting that case since like five-ever! Ugh!"

"Five-ever?" Yoshi asked, confused.

"More than forever," Toadette translated.

*thirty minutes later*

Everyone had gotten sick of the way Toadette and Birdo were talking. Luckily, Peach had thought of an idea. "I'm going upstairs for a bit, I need to sign some papers," she stood up and began to leave the room.

"Oh, same. I'm organizing Peach's bookshelves," Toad got the hint and also stood up. Daisy and Yoshi glanced at each other, catching on what Peach and Toad were doing.

"We're, uh, planting... Uh... Cabbages." Daisy said nervously.

"Mmm, cabbages! Yommy." Yoshi added. The two of them left and went to the vegetable garden.

"Ok, ttyl!" Birdo waved. And the two girls were left alone in the living room to continue the challenge.

*two hours later*

"We should totes check on the others, bae," Toadette suggested.

"Ohemjay, yah!" Birdo agreed. "I'll go to Peach's room and you should go to the veggie garden."

"Ttylxox!" Toadette skipped outside. She went to the vegetable garden and found it completely deserted and untouched. "Ohemjay, that's wee-ard!" she exclaimed. Then, she heard noises nearby. She headed into the fruit and flower garden, and found the people who were supposed to be planting cabbages. Daisy was picking flowers. She hopped into a pile of leaves and popped out giggling. Yoshi, on the other hand, was gobbling up every fruit in sight. He cannonballed off the tire swing into the leaves. The two were definitely enjoying themselves, and certainly NOT planting cabbages. Suddenly, Daisy noticed Toadette seething.

"Oh... Hi, Toadette," Daisy smiled weakly. "We just finished planting the cabbages."

"There weren't any cabbages there," Toadette replied flatly. "You two are so... Ugh, I can't even."

"We ate them all.... Um, yeah." Yoshi was obviously lying.

"We definitely did plant cabbages, though!" Daisy added.

"Wouldn't you have to wait awhile before the cabbages are ready for eating though?" Toadette questioned, rolling her eyes dramatically.

"They were cabbage SPROUTS, not the real thing." Daisy said.

"Oh... The seeds... I got a ruptured appendix!" Yoshi fell to the ground, moaning.

"AGH, me too!" Daisy collapsed. The two began moaning, groaning, and rolling on the ground.

"Do cabbages even come from seeds?" Toadette asked skeptically. The two froze, out of character. They glanced at each other, then smiled weakly at Toadette. "Ohemjay, I've had enough. You two are so ew!" Toadette stormed away.

*meanwhile*

Birdo barged into Peach's room. She found Peach and Toad playing chess. "I still don understand why there isn't a princess piece," Peach huffed.

"You're just jealous because I'm winning this game!" Toad said.

"Why would I be jealous if I won the last game?" Peach replied. Then, both she and Toad realized that Birdo was standing at the doorway, gaping at them. "Umm, I mean, FIX THOSE BOOKSHELVES! NOW!" Peach screeched. Toad quickly began sorting books.

"We were just taking a short break," Toad explained to Birdo.

"You're like totes the worst liar ever!" Birdo exclaimed, nodding her head towards the whiteboard where Peach and Toad were keeping track of who won how many games.

"The games were short," Peach assured.

"It's so obvi that you only started organizing bookshelves and doing paperwork now!" Birdo pouted. "Omg, I'm 3000% done with you!" Toad then pulled out a clipboard from under Peach's desk.

"According to these statistics, the highest potential percentage is 100," he pointed out knowingly.

"Ugh, you know what I mean! You two are totes annoying! I'm leaving!" Birdo sashayed out of the room. She met Toadette, who was about to leave the castle. "You're leaving?" Birdo asked.

"Yeah cuz Daisy and Yoshi are so annoying," Toadette rolled her eyes.

"Ikr! Peach and Toad are also annoying!" Birdo said.

"Tbh, I can't wait for today to be over," Toadette admitted.

"Omg, me too," Birdo agreed.
