That night, despite Michael's complaints, Ashton made spaghetti.
According to Calum, Fridays were pizza night, and Michael's favorite food was pizza which was understandable.
Pizza was amazing.
Shockingly enough, I hadn't seen the face of Luke once since I stepped foot into the 5SOS house.
And for that I was grateful.
When Ashton called us for dinner, I didn't really want to imagine how it would play out.
It would either be hilarious, or awkwardly silent.
It was the latter.
Ashton had made a multitude of attempts to lighten the mood but the cold, icy stare of Luke made all of his attempts fail.
Luke's hair was shockingly unquiffed and rested awkwardly on his forehead. He had on a big, long sleeved sweater and a pair of sweats.
"Charlie, I'm going to miss you a lot. The past week was so much fun. I hope we see you again soon," Calum said at the end of the meal.
I smiled and whispered a thank you to Calum.
"I'm going to miss all you boys. You're all sweet and I'm happy I got four new friends," I explained smiling.
"You mean three? Last time I checked I wasn't your friend," Luke cut in.
Ashton aggressively dropped his utensils on the plate, making a loud clink noise.
"You have to be rude? You can't even take a complement? Jeez Luke, what the hell has gotten into you lately?" Ashton asked harshly.
Luke noticeably shrunk down in his seat and stayed silent.
"I don't care whether you like Charlie or not Luke- she is my family. And family means being there for them and loving them. And you're my family too Luke. But lately you've been nothing but a huge douche. And I won't tolerate you talking to my cousin like that," Ashton continued, pointing a finger at Luke.
Luke's face turned into one of disgust.
"I've been here longer than her Ashton. I hope you realize that. I'm leaving," Luke huffed, standing up.
"Fine. Call us when the real Luke decides to show up!" Ashton hissed.
I bit my lip, not knowing what to do.
"I'll start on the dishes," Calum said pulling Michael out of the room with him.
"I'll help with the pots!" My mother said exiting the room as well.
