Author's note:
I'm so proud of this idea! These 3 connected mini-chapters are gonna be a very important introduction to someone new so it's gonna be exciting!
P.s. this one is 0/2, not 1/3 because the character doesn't appear at all.
This morning was the last morning at school. It went ok, I got my diploma and now I guess I can feel a bit more worthy.
When I got home, mom threw a mini-party. We got a chocolate cake and celebrated.
"Wanna see the surprise?"
I hated surprises, but I was so pumped for this one.
She gave me a key and sent me and Betty in the basement. We were amazed.
The walls had vibrant, red bricks and there was a nice hardwood floor. The place was full of posters and paintings but my favorite part was the guitar, the mic and the drawing desk.
I'm not sure what highschool had to do with this but I didn't care. Mom forbid us going in the basement because she was renovating it for us! All three of us had a nice hug.
"I guess you kids wanna play with the stuff you have here! I'm in the living room if you want something!"
Oh and she was so right.
The guitar intrigued me the most. Mikey taught me how to play and may I say I'm pretty good. I sat on the vibrant green chair and started playing some tunes.
Before you knew it, I was also singing Girls by The 1975. Kind of ironic for my gay ass.
I didn't realize but Betty called mom and they filmed.
"Damn Chic! What CAN'T you do!"
Betty looked a bit jealous and I didn't get why. She told me she can play bass and asked mom if she bought her one too.
"Ha! Did you really think I'd forget you, Elizabeth?" Mom said as she threw a shiny, new, mustard yellow bass guitar to Betty.
I'm not the best at basses but what I know is that this one's a good one.
We started playing a classic, American Idiot, and I was amazed by her bass skills even more than she was of my guitar playing and voice.
Her fingers glided so smoothly and effortlessly on the four strings and her movements and show presence were amazing.
She was better than Lyn-Z herself at the Lyn-Z backbend!
"Chic, we should start a band! We just need a drummer! I can put an autidion announcement in the Blue And Gold!"
That idea was awesome. Maybe I'll make some friends along the way too.
By the next evening, we had 4 potential drummers.
The first one was a good drummer, but he was 50 and looked shady.
The second two were the opposite, not good (at all) and they were both thirteen.
The last auditioner was a girl that tried to flirt with me and we just kicked her out.
We were kinda hopeless untill someone came rushing towards the basement.
