Crimson dragged Cage as far as outside Starbucks, then Cage suddenly sprung up and flipped Crimson, catching her off guard and sent her flying. Cage then released himself from her grip and disappeared.
As Cage walked, he thought about earlier. He was slowly piecing everything together. He thought about the Beretta in her pocket, then he kept thinking. He was almost certain his theory was correct. He knew why everything that happened happened. He turned around and headed for the fight club.
*Crimson stepped in the fight club. Merlyn, Raven and Aaron stared at her, together with the rest of the members of The Shadow and The Ruby Eye.
"What happened?" Raven asked.
"We were attacked. Did you send someone to keep an eye on us?" Crimson questioned with venom in her tone.
"Why would we do that?" Merlyn asked.
"To make sure I got the job done, obviously," Crimson spat back.
"We never sent anyone," Aaron said.
Crimson looked hard into Aaron's eyes and knew he was telling the truth.
"The Forsaken," Crimson said.
"Has to be. Who else would want to kill you and Cage?" Merlyn stated.
"They are already making their moves. They are watching us. Where is Cage now?" Raven asked.
It was at that moment, the door opened and Jack Cage stepped into the room.
The gang members looked quizzically at each other and Cage headed right for them. Then Merlyn came up to Cage and said, "I'm sorry. This is a private meeting. We don't like outsiders here."
Then he put his hand on Cage's shoulder as if to push him. Cage didn't like others putting their hands on him. It makes him angry. And this was no different.
"Get your hand off me. Before I take it off you," Cage said venomously.
The members of the gangs looked on. Some were even close to laughing at the 'empty threat' Cage was making. And Cage could tell.
"Don't make empty threats Cage. I'll like to see you try taking on one of us gang people," Merlyn spat back. Then, he pushed Cage back.
Cage snapped.
He went up to Merlyn and grabbed his arm and twisted it. Merlyn screamed in pain and Cage used his free elbow to smash Merlyn's nose. Then, still grabbing Merlyn's hand, he twisted it 360 degrees. He broke Merlyn's hand in less than a minute.
Merlyn fell to the ground screaming in pain and the others looked at Cage, with a bit of fear in their eyes. Except Crimson who held him up and seemed amused. Cage then kicked Merlyn aside and walked up to the gang.
"What do you want?" Raven asked.
"Clarification," Cage said.
"What kind of clarification?" Aaron asked.
"Oh you know, whether you guys asked Crimson here to get me killed."
Silence.
"No one can order me anything," Crimson said.
"Crimson. Don't give me bullshit. The whole conversation in Starbucks was nothing but bullshit. Who the hell goes to ask someone a question with a Beretta 92F? With a mask? That is someone who doesn't want to be identified when they do a crime. I took note of that. But I still talked. But please. If you want to secretly kill me, do it better," Cage said.
Silence again.
"But you had a choice. I know it cause I would have thought the same. Either let that guy kill me, which he could've with ease, and you won't feel the guilt of killing me. Or save me. Which you did. But my guess is that you did it not cause you liked me, but instead because I haven't given you what you wanted to hear. And what I have is important to you in some way. So you needed me alive. Temporarily," Cage said.
"You know what I don't even need to explain why the hell I kept you alive, should have killed you right there and then," Crimson said.
"Wish I was smarter earlier. I wouldn't have met you. I took into consideration other things as well."
"Such as?" Raven asked.
"Crimson. Help me out. How long has The Serpents been established?" Cage asked.
"Why should I tell you?" Crimson asked.
"I need help. Now I think you're a good person. So help me out and answer the question."
"4 years," Crimson lied.
"Okay. How long has it been since The Serpents has teamed up with the other two gangs?"
"Cage this is classified information," Crimson said.
"As far as I'm concerned, you need information from me. Which I can also say is classified. So let's trade 'classified' information."
"2 years."
"And The Forsaken? How long have they been established?"
"Close to 4 years."
"Someone tell me. How close have you gotten to bringing The Forsaken down or at least deal some damage in them?"
Silence.
"I can tell from your faces the answer is nowhere close. Whereas I happened to stumble upon people who happened to be in The Forsaken and are in charge of The Forsaken's drug dealing which is where a lot of their money comes from and killed them all. Which means a lot of their money is gone."
Silence again.
"You guys probably use the excuse to kill me as that I'm The Forsaken's most wanted blah blah blah when you've all been hiding the real reason."
"And what's that?" Raven questioned.
"That you're scared of me."
Aaron laughed and so did the others including Crimson. " Getting too cocky now aren't you," Aaron laughed darkly, his eyes suddenly turned to him and Cage saw insanity in his eyes.
"Crimson probably isn't. You guys are scared of her too. I saw her beat a big guy in 3 minutes in this fight club just a few days ago. I could do it in one minute tops. So you definitely are right to be scared of me."
"Says who?" Aaron asked.
"When I broke your friend's arm there, I saw fear flash in a lot of your eyes. Don't lie. It was so damn obvious. The fact that you guys have been established for more than a year and haven't done shit and I, a random guy, just comes and takes down an important part of The Forsaken. That scares you. And trust me, you have every right to be. To think that you guys were one of those gangs that is a big no no to mess with, as someone told me. You guys really are a bunch of idiotic cowards. Not Crimson, but definitely the rest of you," Cage said.
Raven then stepped forward and said, "That's enough. Get out now."
"Make me," Cage said.
"There is one of you, and more than ten of us. And you look pretty beat from your previous fight. So yes. We can make you."
Then Raven grabbed Cage's shirt and Cage quickly grabbed his arm and twisted it.
"I already showed you what happens when you touch me. You really don't learn do you?" He said venomously and then twisted the arm more. He then kicked Raven's ribs and rammed Raven's head with his legs, like a soccer player volleying a ball. Raven fell unconscious.
The rest of the gang came in to fight Cage.
