Min Hee Seul invited you to Taehyung's début in being a new investigator.

You wanted to decline because you had so much work to do and so many things to worry about but you didn't want to be rude especially after the exchange yesterday.

So instead, you didn't have any choice but to attend the party.

You wore the dress that your boss gave you and it was beautiful since it had your favorite color and its complementary colors.

She also brought extra clothes for you to wear if the party is done and you had some business to attend.

Right now, there are a lot of unfamiliar faces and some faces that you can even recognize. You tried to be cautious and kept your guard up since any of these strangers could be members of the MAFIA, maybe two or more.

Half of them are speaking in their own native tongue.

They're probably talking about you.

You were slowly getting anxious.

Unfamiliar faces turned towards you.

You're really getting uncomfortable.

"Oh, hi detective! Thank you for coming to the party!" You turned your head to the source of the voice and it was Taehyung!

"Oh.. Um, no problem." You gave him a dismissal wave and a small smile.

It seems that Kim Taehyung's presence has eased you up a bit. You looked behind you to get your boss but it seems she's busy speaking to other guests, leaving you and the new investigator alone.

You wanted to stay with him since you trusted him but you're afraid you might interfere with his meetings and such so you decided to walk away.

"Ah, hey. Where are you going?" He suddenly asks.

"Well, I'm just going somewhere else." You replied back to him without turning back and continued walking.

"But don't you enjoy my company?" You stopped in your tracks and turned around to face him.

"I'll see you later." You replied once again and left the male.

You didn't notice him look at you with a smirk though.

Trying your best to walk around the crowded area, you spotted a beautiful yet tall maiden in the center, singing a song that caught the guests' attention.

You wanted to watch her perform but your feet were aching so instead you sat down and listened to her song.

While doing that, you looked around if there were any suspicious activities. Keeping your guard up and everything.

A waiter offered you a champagne but you declined since you could recall what happened to you at the bar with that, pervert.

The memories of your past experiences came back to haunt you.

You couldn't even focus on the song anymore.

Your mind is repeating the scenes all over again which annoyed you and terrified you.

The crowd suddenly began clapping and that's when you snapped back to reality.

Looking at the woman again, she smiled and did a flying kiss to everyone.

You stood up and walked outside the building, trying to get some fresh air and help yourself relax.

"Hey miss, you free?" You turned around to the source of the unfamiliar voice and there stood three men in suits.

"What do you want?" You guessed that they were also part of the MAFIA. You stared at them in suspicion and backed away from them, which made them take a step forward.

"Calm down, he was just asking, sweetheart." The other guy said.

"What business do you have with me?" You yelled. The man in the middle slapped your face when you yelled at him and covered your mouth with his hand.

You struggled to escape and tried to back away, though you stepped on your dress and you fell on your back with the man on top of you.

"Ohoho, I barely even know you but I'm guessing you like this kind of thing, heh?" He teased which wanted you to kill the bastard.

You planned on punching him when a police officer beat you to it. The man met with the fist on his jaw and he flew back, hitting his two colleagues.

The police was yelling in Korean which you couldn't understand.

"¹ 세상에, 괜찮 니?!" You looked to your side and saw the woman from earlier run towards you.

You couldn't understand what she said but she helped you up on your feet.

"Thank you." You said to her while she dragged you somewhere far from the scene.

"Why are we here?" You guys stopped inside the alleyway and she stared at you.

She began taking off her clothes which made you panic. When you looked back, the woman you saw earlier, wasn't there. It was the man with slight make-up on. It seems he also took off his wig and he's wearing a T-shirt and some pants.

You stared in awe and was about to say something but he put a finger on your lips and hushed you.

"Please don't be afraid. I'm not going to hurt you." He pleaded.

You slightly nodded but kept your guard up still. You noticed he kept glancing behind you which made you turn around.

"But he will."

And everything went black.
