 After you opened the locked outlet, you pulled out a notebook. It was a normal one nonetheless, however it was really dusty. Like it has been stored here for a long time.

You sneezed, the dust was getting to your nose, "Bless you," Taehyung said.

You thanked him and opened it up, there were writings on the first page so you read it out loud.

"₩100,000 PAID Moon Soon DEAD, ₩254,000 PAID Choi Sangyun DEAD, ₩1,000,000 PAID Yi Chanhee DEAD, ₩200,000,000 NOT PAID for 3 Months (Oh Sangwoo) DEAD, ₩500,000 NOT PAID for a month (Yoon Bum) DEAD..." 

You trailed off, you and the male investigator beside you stared in disbelief at the list of people. What happened to these people? What kind of shit has Ran Rin gotten herself into?

You flipped through more pages, they were all filled with the names of the victims, big sums of cash and there were some names that were crushed out, along with some names that has the word DEAD after it. Was Ran Rin a murderer? Why would she do this?

You flipped again, until Taehyung stopped you, "Detective, pause for a moment..."

You paused, looking at him with a raised eyebrow, "What is it?"

He flipped the pages backward until he stopped at a certain one and pointed at a name. Your eyes widened, suddenly realizing what was written on it.

"₩2,500,000 NOT PAID Ah Ji Kyu DEAD..."

"Detective, that's the man who was involved with the MAFIA. He was the victim! He gambled with the MAFIA at the bar where Ran Rin worked, and when he died the police assumed it to be a suicide," He said, reviewing what you two have gathered for the past few days about the issue. When he mentioned the police, you were kinda pissed off. They didn't do a thorough investigation.

"That's a big number of Won," You said.

"Maybe Ji-kyu couldn't pay the debt," Taehyung said as he stood up, "So that's why he was killed..."

You perked up, glancing at Taehyung suspiciously as he looked around the room, "Kim Taehyung..."

He turned his head as his name was called, a bit surprised because you used his full name. He thought it was something serious so he listened attentively.

"How do you know the sum of Won were debts?"

The male investigator slightly flinched and you noticed this. You stood up, getting suspicious about his behavior since the moment you two stepped into her room. You observed it all, "There was nothing written here that it was debts, and I thought it could be the amount of won that Ran Rin received after she marked out the dead victims," You spoke up, walking towards him while he steps back.

You decided to press further on the subject, "Are you two working together, is that it? Are you part of the MAFIA too?"

Then at that moment, Taehyung knew it was his time to speak up, "Detective, let me explain to you thoroughly-"

"No! The first time I set my eyes on you as soon as I entered the office after your début, I was suspicious of you. You were there! In that enclosed space with me and the others!" You yelled, now it was your turn to step further away from him while he approaches you with hands in front of him, meaning he meant no harm.

"Don't assume too much, it'll only damage our partnership in this investigation!" He couldn't help but raise his voice.

"Who started this in the first place anyway! It wasn't your assumption but the sure answer that you said was enough to tell me that you're part of them!" You barked back.
