‹Picture of Taylor Holloway to the side›
"Taylor! Please give it to me!"
Of course, my plea went unnoticed. It didn't matter that I was only two minutes and ten seconds younger than him; I would always be the baby. He wouldn't listen to me even if I could take him down with one kick to the crotch because I would forever be his baby sis.
Having a twin can be irritating. Having a twin who is older than you by two minutes and ten seconds can be nerve-wracking. Now, having a twin who is older than you by two minutes and ten seconds and never lets you forget it can just suck.
Ladies and Gentleman, my twin brother Taylor.
"Mom!"
"Aw, come on sis," Taylor pouted. "You know I was just playing."
I snatched the purple halter top he had just been twirling above his head and started hitting him with each word. "What. Is. Wrong. With. You! You. Over. Grown. Blonde. Haired. Albino. Monkey!"
Taylor held his head in his hands as I started to punch him. "Ow – what – ow – please – argh – ow – stop!"
Once I was satisfied with the amount of pain I had inflicted, I took a step back, crossing my arms and jutting my hip out. Taylor slowly lifted his arms off of his head and held his hands out in front of himself, but quickly dropped them when he saw the smile worming its way onto my face.
"Oh, you think that's funny huh?" he asked, running a hand through his hair.
I shrugged indifferently, staring at my manicured nails. "Maybe just a little bit."
"OMG," Taylor said in a high pitched voice, flinging his hands up in the air, "Why don't we like go to like the beach like today!"
"That's not funny," I said, narrowing my eyes, "Besides, you did it wrong." I flipped my hair over my shoulder as an excited look crossed my face and said in a high pitched tone, "Like OMG! We should like totally got to the beach!"
Taylor shook his head as a stupid smirk crossed his face. "Wow little sis, don't act too dumb now. You know what they say; the stupid ones are the first ones to die."
I'm pretty sure my jaw was on the ground.
"You're blonde too, dumbass." I snapped.
He shook his head. "But I'm a smart blonde. You're just plain stupid."
"At least I have common sense." I retorted.
He backed up,raising his hands up in the air slowly. "Touchè."
Taylor leaned against the wall. "And changing the subject from your blonde stupidity and my blonde superiority," he said. "You ready for school tomorrow?"
I rolled my eyes at him, only he could change a conversation about blondes into a conversation about my favorite topic – school.
"Does that even need to be asked? Of course I'm ready for school. It's my junior year – it's our junior year!"
Taylor nodded. "I am well aware of that, little sister," he suddenly smirked. Oh lord. Nothing good ever comes out of Taylor and his smirking. "Now I can finally pick up girls that are not Freshmen. Honestly, do you know how clingy they are? The morning after they expect me to stay and braid their hair and tell them how much I love them. At least now, I can hit the Senior girls because I am not a Sophomore, I am a junior."
My face scrunched up in confusion. "But what's the difference between last year and this year? You finally grew chest hair?"
Taylor's smirk turned into a smug grin. "This year I'll be hitting the Seniors. Last year I was hitting Freshmen."
"You're a douche. You know that right?"
He shrugged. "I try."
I sighed and shook my head disappointedly. "I am going to go to my room and sleep. Night, Loser."
As I opened the door Taylor just had to open his big mouth and shout, "But it's only four in the afternoon!"
I groaned. "Shut up!"
