|Chapter 1~ Meet the Holloways|

  Waking up to silence is rare in the Holloway household.

  Usually, I'm awoken to the sounds of shouting and four in the morning football reruns. That or I'm being pranked.

  So, imagine my hesitation to get out of bed and get ready. I put my hand over my mouth to muffle my loud yawns as I fully woke up. As I stretched the muscles that were stiff from sleeping in one position, my eyes wandered to the turquoise digital alarm clock that kept flashing;

5:00 am

  Huh. That's a little too early for my taste. However, seeing that no one was up at this time of day, I decided to get up and take my time getting ready.

  Being a Holloway meant that you had to make an impression on the first day of school. This is one of the downfalls to being what I class as 'well known'. Everyone is always watching you, wondering who you're dating – which is no one by the way – or what you're wearing. I'm not gonna lie, it can get annoying. It doesn't help that my brothers are always dragging me into their shananigans and stupid pranks. Sure, you get invited to the most 'exclusive' parties. But come on, its high school not college. There is no exclusive party. Yeah there's birthday bashes and huge blowouts, but no secret society gathering.

  It's not even me that's really popular, it's my brothers. There's the triplets: Mitchell – the oldest, Vincent – the middle, and Parker – the youngest. All three excelling in the looks department. Then there is my twin: Taylor. All four have the chiselled features, tan skin, and blonde hair. The difference between Taylor and the Triplets is that where the triplets have girlfriends, Taylor has.... girl friends; as in friends that are girls. His 'friends' are girls who like to hop aboard the Taylor express – if you know what I mean.

  Doing my usual morning ritual took me about an hour today since I woke up at the crack of dawn. So it wasn't surprising to see everyone downstairs at six with red eyes, messy hair, and rumpled clothes.

  Now lets get one thing straight. The Holloways are not morning people. We're all mean and cranky when we get up and it takes about half an hour for us to get over it. That's most likely the reason my family was staring at me as I skipped into the kitchen, plopping myself on a bar stool before greeting them.

"Good morning." I chirped, a wide grin probably evident on my face.

  In response, I got a cluster of mumbled 'Mornings' and one 'What is wrong with you'.

  "Mitchell." my mother scolded. He rolled his eyes before he responded with a sarcastic smile. "Oh sorry, dear sister of mine."

  I clasped my hands together as I looked at my brothers. "Did you all just get up?"

  They all nodded simultaneously.

  "Why are you up so early?" Parker, the youngest of the triplets – and the nicest in my opinion – asked.

  I just shrugged my shoulders. "Probably just nerves."

  Vinny took a huge bite of his corn flakes. "Why are you nervous? You're Montgomery High's Sweetheart." he teased, mouthful of cereal and all.
