Chapter 2

'Okay, now the story is getting weirder. Nah, it's just a coincidence. Besides, I'm not interested to Mitsuki... am I?' You thought and you look over to where Mitsuki was.

As soon as you do, Mitsuki was already staring at you and he gave you a smile which you just immediately look away. 

'Get it together Y/n! You weren't called the Great and Almighty Y/n for nothing! You were named after that because no guys had ever caught your interest right? So get it together! He's just a normal boy just like the other boys in here.' You thought then turned your attention to the lesson you are learning.

"Alright, I'm gonna get you all in a pair to do a report about being a Ninja. The best pair who will have the best report that would be presented will have a reward." Shino said and started pairing everyone with each other.

"...Boruto and Sarada." You heard a groan coming from Sarada while Boruto just giggle. "...Y/n and Kiba." 

(Author's note: I will be adding some Naruto characters so it would be connected to the story. So everyone will be teenager)

As soon as you heard your name, you quickly perk your head towards your partner, just to see him smirk and wink at you. A shiver was sent down your spine and you almost bang your head down the table.

'Anyone but NOT Kiba!' You annoyingly thought and sigh in defeat since you didn't have any choice on choosing your partner.

Later that day, you and Kiba decided to finish your project at your home since you both have to finish your report together.

"Dad, I'm home!" You yelled and your dad came out from the kitchen.

"Welcome home darling..." As soon as your dad saw Kiba, he stares at him then blink a few times. "Who is this?"

"He's my school-mate and he's here because we're going to finish a report from school." You replied while smiling and your father nod in understanding.

"I see, I'll be preparing dinner so I'll call you guys when it's ready." Your father said and you nod.

"Thanks dad!" You yelled and lead Kiba up to your room.

When Kiba look back at your father, your father gave him a sign of 'I'm watching you' and it made Kiba gulp then laugh nervously.

"Okay, let's start shall we?" You ask Kiba when the two of you are already in your room.

The both of you work together with Kiba researching and you writing on a piece of paper. Just as when the two of you finish, your father called the both of you for dinner. After you were done eating, you walk Kiba at your front door and you were saying goodbye with each other.

"We should do this more often, you know... hanging out with each other." Kiba said while blushing and you just rolled your eyes.

"We should not." You stated and Kiba laugh but you could see the pain in his eyes.

You hated seeing boys like that but eventually, you got use to it.

"Alright, goodbye." You said and before Kiba could say another word to you, you close the door in front of him then sigh.

"Well that was something new." Your father came in the hallway with a smile on his face. "Is that your boyfriend?"

His question caught you off-guard and it made you flustered.

"W-what! No way, Kiba is just my friend. I don't have feelings for him. What's with the sudden question?" You ask and your father laugh at you.

"Nothing nothing, you just reminded me of your mum is all." He said and after he had said that, sadness was shown in his eyes.

"S-sorry dad..." You trailed off as you also became sad for your father.

You never knew your mother since she died when you got born and John was your half brother. He was given to your father because the mother didn't want the child. 

"It's okay, it's not your fault anyway. Don't be sad now, you know I don't like seeing you sad. Besides, I still have you and your little brother right?" Your father reassured you while touching your shoulder and you smiled at him then gave him a hug.

"You're the best dad anyone could ever have!" You commented and your father once again laugh while stroking your back.

"Now brush your teeth then go to bed. You don't want to be late for tomorrow." Your father said and you nod.

"Love you daddy!" You kiss him on the cheek then ran upstairs.

"I love you too sweetie pie." Your dad whisper to himself then smiled.

When you got to your bedroom, you notice that Kiba had left his notebook so you decided to grab it and ran after him.

"Dad, I'm just gonna go after Kiba to give his notebook!" You yelled to your dad who was in the kitchen then he took a peak at you.

"Can't you just give it tomorrow at school?" Your dad ask but you knew you could ran after Kiba that easily.

"It's fine dad, I'll be quick!" You said.

"Alright, make sure to return fast!" Was the last words you heard from your father before you went to the same way Kiba went.

As you were running, you felt as if someone was watching you but you just ignore it since you couldn't see anyone. When you turned around the corner, you bump into something and almost fell at your butt so you close your eyes to wait for the impact but something caught you... or rather someone.

You opened your eyes just to be meet with a beautiful golden eyes. You immediately felt your face flush and when you look down at your body, his arms was around your waist and his face wasn't that far from your face. You could almost feel his warm breathe on your nose.

"Are you alright?" His voice brought you back to reality and you flinch in surprise.

"I-I'm alright!" You exclaim as you step away from him, only to trip on your own feet.

You thought that you were gonna fall but Mitsuki caught you once again.
