Chapter 10

"Are you alright?" Mitsuki ask you.

"Wha- oh yeah! I'm alright." You answered with a smile and Mitsuki nod.

'No, Mitsuki couldn't be the killer.' You thought as you stare at Mitsuki for a while.

Suddenly, he took your hand and held it. You flinch slightly at the sudden touch and look down to see him connecting his hand onto yours.

"M-Mitsuki..." You whisper and he held your hand tightly.

"I like it better this way." He commented which made you blush.

You look the other way so he won't see your blushing face and you couldn't stop your heart from beating so loud and fast. Millions of butterflies flew around your stomach and you love the warmth of his hand running through your entire body.

At that very moment, you have forgotten that you have a mission to fulfil. A mission that instead of making Mitsuki closer to you, you were slowly falling for him. All the feelings that you're feeling right now is new to you since you never fell in love with anyone before.

"Let's go." Just by hearing the voice of Mitsuki was like a venom and a spell to you, slowly spreading around your body as if it want to control you and have you.

A poisonous venom that you couldn't resist and a spell that you have fallen under. You don't know why it was happening and all you know was you're enjoying the new feelings you are having.

Mitsuki bought the ticket while letting go of your hand. You wish he didn't let go since you already miss the warmth of his hand but you just sigh it away. You chose the seat at the very front. You then felt fear in you when you realise that the Space coaster was really high.

"Ummm..." You uncomfortably kept moving on your seat and Mitsuki notice this.

"What's wrong?" He ask.

"N-nothing..." You replied as you avoided eye contact with him.

"Do you want to back down now?" He questions.

"N-no! I can do this, this will be just like riding a plane on a turbulence! Hehehe." Your laugh was weird and it was obvious in the tone of your voice that you were terrified.

"Don't worry, I'm just here. I will keep you safe." Mitsuki held your hand and you look into his beautiful golden eyes.

There was a tint of pinkish blush on Mitsuki's cheek and he have to look away so you wouldn't notice it. Since you were still scared, you didn't even know that he was blushing so hard when he turned his face away from you.

The coaster began to forward and you let out a small squeak on your mouth while gripping on Mitsuki's hand tightly. You close your eyes and hid your face on Mitsuki's shoulder. Mitsuki then look at you then smile mentally as he enjoys watching how cute you could be. He was also thankful that he gets to see this side of you.

The coaster slowly went up and up and up above the ground and as the height keeps increasing, you bury your face into Mitsuki's shoulder even more.

"Tell me we're not going to die!" You exclaim making Mitsuki laugh.

"Don't worry, we are not going to die because we still have promises that we haven't fulfil yet." You look up to what Mitsuki had just said and he look at you in a wide eyes but then smiled with close eyes.

Before you could even ask, the coaster went down at rapid speed, making you scream at the top of your lungs and burying your face into Mitsuki's chest. Mitsuki then wrap his arms around you as if he was protecting you and never letting you go.

"I want to live!" You scream and Mitsuki laugh while stroking your hair.

The ride went on and to you, it felt like it was taking forever.

"Y/n, enjoy the ride." Mitsuki said as he tried taking you off him but you held tightly. "Come on Y/n, trust me."

You slowly and hesitantly let go of Mitsuki with your eyes still close.

"Now open your eyes and look into mine." He instructed but you shook your head.

"No!"

"Just open your eyes and look into mine." He repeated but you shook your head again.

"No no no no!" You stubbornly said and then you felt both of your hands being held.

"Please, trust me." You knew that the tone of Mitsuki's voice was telling the truth so you took a deep breathe and open your eyes to meet his beautiful golden orbs.

As soon as you saw his eyes, you felt safe and somehow, the scene was familiar to you.

Reader's POV

Those eyes, I'm pretty sure I have seen them before but... where?

"See, now look around you." He instructed and I gulp before taking the view in front of me.

Everything was amazing, the sky, the rides, I even see Boruto running around on Lee's clothes. When coaster went down, it felt like I was going down the slide. Mitsuki took my hand and I look at him.

His hair was flying from here to there and the ray of the sun made him even more... attractive. That's when I verified that... he is not the killer.

"It's... beautiful!" I said and I heard him chuckle, which made me blush.

"Like you." I heard him say and when I look at him, he was blushing and looking the other way.

"What did you just say?" I ask him to make sure.

"N-nothing..." He replied and I giggle.

He's so cute! Wait what?

After hearing what I just said in my mind, I was starting to have a thought if I'm... falling in love with him. I then caught a sight of Sumire and Inojin below us and it reminded me of my mission.

Get close to him and search for any evidence if he's the killer.

Right, focus on the mission Y/n!
