We left the party most to eleven but it was fun having Ken with me because I know my friends won't stay with me for more than ten seconds until they see something impressive. But again having Ken made it alright having someone stay with you and talk and laugh at people who are making a fool out of themselves because one; they're drunk, and two; they're getting to the point that they are drunk. But after while things started to get out of control so we decided leaving before getting in trouble or something happened.

On the drive home it was quite except for sound of rock band playing to drown out the awkward silence between us. But I wanted to break the silence between us but I can't because of what Cole say earlier I wanna know what happened between him and Amelia but don't want to sound like I'm jealous or anything. But I need to stop thinking about it and focus on the road right before something happened to us.

We just got home. Right now I'm sitting on the hood of my car while he leaning against and we both don't have nothing to say to each other. When I was about to call it a night he say something.

"I'm not those types of guys that are jerks or asshole or what you called them but I'm not one of them. All I did is talk to her that's all nothing more."

"You didn't have to explain yourself."

"Yeah, I know. But I felt like I should. What happened earlier between me and Cole."

"He shouldn't have say that."

"He just looking out for you."

"Why? He didn't care before." he chuckle. "What?"

"I think he see me as a threat."

"Why?"

"He jealous."

"Of you? Why?"

"Because he have a crush or more than a crush on you." I scoffed. He the one that suggested we should be friends after I told how I feel about him. So why all suddenly he started to have feeling for me after it took almost month to accept it that we nothing but friends. Just thinking about it is giving me a headache so, I lay down on the hood of the car staring up at the night sky.

"Can I be honesty with you for a sec." he said, looking over his shoulder to see me laying there.

"Sure, why not."I said, meeting his eyes.

"Promise me, that no matter what I have to say won't change thing the way you see me." the tone in his voice sound little seriously and that got my attention to sit up straight. "Promise me, it won't."

I herniated in that moment when he say that one word that I never thought I have to make a promise to someone or explain why. But I know he have to know sooner or later when he ask to make a promise and I never thought it will be tonight.

"Sorry, but I don't make anymore promise. I know that sound ridiculous stupid, but I can't for this one reason. I was fine before with the other but not this one that got to me."

"Why? What happened?"

"My family lived by their words and not a single one has ever broken their word, until I did. I thought I could lived their expectation but I couldn't. We're plan this for months, me and my friends were supposed to go to Hawaii for a while and then to London for the summer. Well I saved some money that I had for working with dad at the restaurant but we all had to pitch in to pay for the ticket. Just few days before we're getting to leave to embark on an adventure me and Nathan and Cole had something to do on that day so we change the date to the next day. Even though we promised to wait after we got done with our things we had to do.

"But turn out Nathan and Cole cancel it and never told me about it and left on the original date we had set up without me, but they gave my ticket to someone, didn't tell me who the person is. So when my parents ask why I didn't go, I lied to them. I didn't want them involved. So I spent the whole summer working with my dad. And I don't why I'm still friends with them or mad or ignore them when they got back from the trip, I should of but I didn't."
