Chapter fourteen

I been in my room for part the afternoon and rest of the night and thinking about what a day it was from knowing the truth that I always wanted but wished I didn't even more to have a strained in my friendship with them. Ken or should I say Colin have been texting every five minutes and I lost of messages from and one from Kasie apologizing and that she just got home late at night. I know for fact that she probably lying was hanging out with Carrie and then. But I don't bothers to reply to any of theirs messages but stay in my room and watch tv.

It's 8:43 and I'm sitting by the window looking out getting little distracted watching the birds fly around and clouds moving slowly and see the neighbors getting into their car heading to work. My phone went off on the bedside table. I get up to see who it is. Its a text message from Kasie.

Kasie
Hey, why didn't you tell me?

Me
Tell you what?

As I waited for she to text back I walk over to the window looking out again but then move away from but also peeking out from the side. I see him out front standing by a the curb next a cab. He have his hands in his jean pocket and looking at the ground while his manager and Cassie were talking about something. But then he turn to look up towards my house, I moved away from the window little more but also can still see him. Not knowing that I have my phone still in my hand and forgot to text back Kasie, she text back.

Kasie
Hello, you still there or did you get suddenly disappeared from end of the earth?

Me
Sorry I busy doing something.

Kasie
Mmm, okay. Are you still going to tell me what about Ken.

For a second I thought she might know who he is and just wanted to if it true because we gotten close over the month. But I'm not sure if she knows so I text back.

Me
What about him?

As soon the text have sent there was a knock downstairs at the door. I hear the door open and hear my mom talking to someone until I hear the person talk.

"Is Jayla home?" It's Ken, I mean Colin.

"I'm not sure? Hold on I go see." I hear my mom say. I'm standing at the end on my bed when she came in. She doesn't know what's going on, all she knows is that I was little hurt and upset and I talk about it. "He's here, he wants to talk to you."

"I don't wanna talk to him." and that I say before going over to dresser to the last drawer and I took out my sketch book and sit on my bed.

"Okay." She say before leaving the room and went back downstairs. Then I hear talking to Colin. "No, I'm sorry she must be out for a run."

"That's all right, will you let her know I stopped by."

"I will."

After hearing the door closed I went to the window and see that he was getting in the car with his manager and then they drive off heading to the airport. I see Cassie looking down the street until they disappear, no longer seeing them and headed inside to her house.

I forgot about Kasie texting me until I hear my going off on the bed. I see it Kasie.

Kasie
The fact that you didn't tell us about him being Colin Blake from Milestones.

Me
I didn't know about anything of it until yesterday.

Kasie
Mmm, okay.

Seriously she don't believe, she kind of being like Carrie right now and she never acted like her since I have know but changing the subject.

Me
Do you want to hangout?

Kasie
Sorry but I'm going out with my family. Maybe later.

Me
Yeah, sure.

I have a feeling she with Carrie and them and they told about everything or making a lie about me for don't hangout with me and then soon be distance from our friendship like the others.

This have been worse day of my life so far other than last summer where they ditched me.

All I can think about everything that has happened all I wanted to is fix things but I don't know if I want too after what happened. All I could do is think about it the damage that I caused. But for now I want some time to think for myself for once and worrying about it later when I want to forgive certain people later on. As I will try to enjoy the last few weeks of summer spending time with my family and helping them out.
