I look around for Deidara but to no avail. I eventually see his cloak and decide to try a sneak attack on him. I quickly do my signs and appear near him. He is looking around and I run towards him silently. I attempt to flip him over but he grabs my arm, and forces me to the ground, pinning me down by my arms.
He wags a finger at me. "Eh, eh, eh. You almost had me there but when you become a master of arts like me, you expect the unexpected. I thought you'd pull a stunt like that."
I stick my tongue out at him teasingly. "Almost, I was so close!"
He laughs. "Not close enough and you owe me a shuriken, you know."
I laugh. "No I don't! Maybe you should stop throwing things at me when I don't expect it." I push him off of me with my knee and he grabs my hand, helping me up. "And what's with the mouths on your hands?" He quickly explains. "That's so cool! They make your bombs."
He nods. "Yep, kinda like the ones I throw at you. And I refer to them as art."
I giggle. "So, you're an artist?"
"Yeah, you could say that."
I hadn't realized we were walking until my feet hit water. I look up at the sky and see the sun sinking lower in the sky. "I gotta go, but tomorrow at the training field, right?"
He nods. "Yeah, but actually, me and the Akatsuki are having a sort of party. You should come. It is gonna be at the Club Envy."
I perk up a little and smile broadly. "I love parties!"
"Great! So I'll see you there at 9:30?"
I nod eagerly. "Yeah, I'll be there for sure!"
He smiles and does his hand signs quickly before disappearing.
Tukiko runs up to me and playfully puts a hand around my shoulder. "So what did ya do while I was gone?"
"I was hanging with a new friend. How was beach volleyball?"
She squeals. "Absolutely amazing. We tore the other team up."
We high five. "Good, that's what I want to hear."
We head back to the room as it continuously gets darker. I change into my training clothes as I get ready to head to the field. "So...have any plans tonight?"
She blushes lightly. "I think so. Me and Kiba are supposed to hang out."
I raise my eyebrows. "Oh really?"
"Yeah, he wanted to so I agreed. I mean, why not, y'know."
"Well have fun. I was invited to a party I was gonna bring you but maybe next time."
"Yeah, but you have fun for me, okay."
I smile. "Deal. Tell me how it goes with Kiba. I will be back soon to get ready."
I head to the training field and begin target practice by throwing kunais while doing flips and spins. My progress was remarkable. I couldn't believe how good I was getting. I couldn't help but thank Deidara, he was definitely a big help.
As 8:00 nears, I run back to the room. Tukiko sits in the bed, reading a book that she brought with her.
"When is Kiba gonna be here?"
She shrugs. "Around 8:30, I think."
"Okay, what should I wear to the party?"
"Don't dress up too much since you're going to do a lot of dancing with a really cute guy, right?"
I laugh. "I sure hope so. And yes, I agree." I grab a pair of dark tinted skinny jeans and a royal purple tank top with ruffles at the neckline. I put on a pair of black flats. "How does this look?"
She kisses her fingertips in approval. "Perfect. And throw on a black leather jacket!"
I smile as I grab the leather jacket and throw her a strappy blue dress.
She shakes her head in disapproval. "No, no, no. Too revealing." She shuffles through her bags and grabs a simple black dress. "One can never go wrong with the little black dress."
I give her a thumbs up. "True that and beautiful." She goes to change when a knock occurs from the door. I answer it and smile kindly. "Hey Kiba, Tukiko is getting ready. She'll be done soon though. But you can come in if you'd like."
He unsurely walks in and takes a seat in chair as he patiently waits.
I knock on the door to the bathroom. "Tukiko, Kiba's here."
I hear banging and she opens the door, walking out. "Hey, sorry it took so long."
Kiba's eyes widen and he smiles. "No problem and you look...wow."
She smiles and they walk out the door. I hoped that she would try to enjoy herself. I throw on the jacket and made my way to the third floor where all the clubs were: it was time to party!
