Deidara. The bottle landed on Deidara. I feel myself blushing and Tukiko laughs. "See, it's fate that you guys should date!"
We stand in front of each other awkwardly. He rubs the back of his neck. "So..."
"Well...we can't just not do it. I guess we have to kiss." I lean forward at the same moment that he does and I feel our lips touch. His lips were soft and everything about the kiss felt so...right even though it was all wrong. Kissing your guy friend...yeah, totally normal...not. We pull away, breathless and sit back down.
Tukiko nudges me, raising her eyebrows suggestively. "How was the kiss? You know you liked it!"
I shake my head, trying to hide my satisfaction of the kiss. "You never like kissing your guy friend, it makes things weird."
She hits my arm. "Whatever..."
Haruki laughs. "I liked kissing him..." she sees the look on our faces. "I'm just kidding! Joke y'know. Haha funny! Yeah, I was totally kidding."
We laugh awkwardly with her. Finally, we get tired of playing spin the bottle. Everybody had basically kissed everyone of the opposing gender and it was becoming boring especially since I had to kiss Hidan not once but twice!
As we walk back to the room after the party, Tukiko smiles, her eyes lighting up. "Hey, who wants to go to the hot springs?"
Tobi had stayed behind at the party and let me tell you, I think everybody was in a happier mood. We all give Tukiko our answers. It was official, we were going to the hot springs. Deidara disappears to change and us girls rush to change into our bathing suits.
As we wait for Haruki to finish so we could leave, Tukiko laughs. "Next time you have to kiss Deidara, I'll volunteer as tribute! I didn't mind kissing him!"
I laugh even though a part of me disliked the thought of her kissing Deidara. Finally, after an eternity it seemed like, Haruki gets through changing and we head to the hot springs where Deidara was supposed to meet us. I blush at the thought of seeing him without a shirt and thank god that it was night so Tukiko couldn't see the redness of my cheeks. We arrive and I see Deidara standing there, waiting, disappointingly, in his Akatsuki cloak.
I walk up to him, towel over my arm. "Are you really going to wear your Akatsuki cloak in the hot spring?"
He chuckles and shakes his head. "Of course not." He sheds his cloak, revealing swim trunks of the same design as his cloak and a toned abdomen. I had the urge to run my hand over it, memorizing the feel of it but I quickly shake the feeling off. We were just friends. I blush at the thought and step into the water, sinking down and relaxing.
I see Tukiko and Haruki staring at shirtless Deidara and I giggle. "Hey Tukiko, maybe you and Deidara should be the ones who date!"
She laughs. "Maybe we should!" She swims her way towards Deidara.
"I was joking!" I say and swim after her.
She sticks her tongue out at me as she jumps onto Deidara's back. I frown as he grabs her legs to keep her on his back and he swims around with her on his back.
"Tukiko!"
She looks at me and rests her head on his shoulder. Haruki is glaring daggers at her and I cross my arms over my chest. I decided to keep my eye on her, making sure she didn't pull any other stunts. I look around. What the hell! Where did they go? I look around frantically and begin swimming around to look for them when someone grabs me around my waist from behind and I scream.
