It was Felicity's second day on the job and she was doing pretty good. The doorbell above the door just jingled, she looked up at the noise and saw Nik sitting at one of her tables. She blushed. He had been coming in this week, and he had always sat at that table. " Hey Nik." Hi Felicity, how are you today?" he asked. "I'm doing alright. What can I get you?" "I'll have a coffee and the grilled turkey club sandwich." " I'll get that right out to you." She started walking away, but he called out her name. she turned. " Do you happen to have a break soon?" " Yeah, I'm going on break right now. Why?" she asked. "Would you like to get yourself something to eat and drink, and then join me?" She looked at him for a couple of seconds. " I would love too, just give me a couple of minutes?" "Of course. I'll be here." She walked behind the counter and got a coffee for Nik and a iced sweet tea and soda crackers for herself. She carried everything over to the table and sat down. She slowly nibbled on the soda crackers, trying to calm her stomach. Nik looked at her, " Are you okay? You're looking kind of pale." "I'm fine." The bell rang, so she stood up to go get his food and the world tilted, and the dizziness started. She gripped the table for a couple of seconds. blackness was surrounding her. She heard Nik calling her name as the blackness claimed her.
Nik just stared at Felicity who was looking paler by every second that went by. She stood up to get his food, and gripped the table. " Felicity? Are you okay?" he asked. As soon as he said those words, she collapsed. Her head hitting the tile floor with a sickening crack. In an instant he was kneeling by her side. " Felicity?" Nik looked up to see the owner walking his way. "Hey Drew. Can you call Dr. Adam's and tell him to meet me at my ranch? Tell him I'll have a young lady for him to check out? She is expecting." Drew nodded. Nik picked her up and noted how light she was. " Felicity? Can you hear me?" Nik asked. She made no indication that she had heard him.
