Nik put his hand on Felicity's forehead again, to check her temperature. he was very relieved to feel that it was cool to the touch. When her touched her forehead, she sighed and snuggled closer to him. She slowly opened her eyes to see him looking at her, his hand was still resting on her stomach, rubbing it gently. Nik looked at her. " How do you feel?" he asked. She lay her head on his shoulder. "I'm feeling better. But I still feel pretty weak." Felicity said. Nik looked kind of sad. " It's pretty understandable. You've been in and out of consciousness for the past week." Felicity suddenly sat upright. " A week! Really?" " Yeah" Nik said. " You had a fever of a hundred and two point five. You are bound to feel a little crappy and weak for the next couple of days." He said gently. he pulled her into his arms. her head rested on his shoulder again. Nik was silent for awhile, then said. " Felicity, do you think you could handle some chicken broth? Dr. Adams said you should try some broth at first, and if you can handle that you can try something more filling." "I can try, if it will please you. I'm not very hungry." She said. "You have to eat for the sake of the baby though." " I know." Nik stood up and started walking to the door. " I'll be right back."
Felicity closed her eyes and thought of Nik. Would he still like her even after everything she'd done? She ran away from the life she knew because of her ex-boyfriend. Jesse had told her to get rid of the baby. " Felicity, are you okay?" Nik asked as he came back into the room. " No, I'm not, Nik. I've got to tell you something, then you can decide where it leads our relationship.
