Felicity was now working again at The Bluebelle Cafe, and today was her doctors appointment with a new OBGYN. She was kind of nervous about it. Nik would soon be here to pick her up for her sonogram. She stood behind the counter getting ready, when she heard her name being called. She turned around and saw Nik walking towards her. He was smiling at her, as he sat down on a stool. " Are you ready for this?" Nik asked. Felicity nodded. " I can't believe I've been here for almost four months. I love Sunset Crossings, Connecticut. i also love being near you." She blushed. " Let's go get this sonogram done, pretty lady." They walked to his and he helped her inside. "Felicity waited for Nik to get behind the wheel, and said, " I can't believe I'm almost seven months. Soon I'll be a mother!" Nik grinned. He loved the fact that she was really happy here.

Nik sat down in a chair next to the bed that Felicity was lounging on. "Are you okay, Felicity?" He asked. She had her eyes closed. "Yeah, I'm good. I can't wait." The door opened and Alec stepped in. " How are you, Felicity?" " I'm doing well. I can't wait to see my baby!" She said. Alec smiled, " Then let's get started. Can you pull up your shirt for me, please?" She did as he said. He put some blue gel on her stomach and she flinched, " Oh, that's cold!" She said. Alec laughed, "You'll get used to it." He spread it around with the transducer probe. Nik and Felicity stared at the sonogram machine, listening to the healthy heartbeat of her baby. Alec looked also, and said, " I think it's your lucky day. I know why you're bigger than most woman at this stage of pregnancy," he said. Felicity looked at Alec. " I've wondered that myself. Why am I so much bigger?" Alec looked at her. " You're having twins. Look and listen, there is one head here and another one right there. Along with four arms and four legs." Nik looked at her. " You're having twins, Felicity! Twins." Felicity looked at Nik. " Even after how they were conceived, I love them. I can't find it in me to not love them. They've been a part of me for almost seven months." She said. Alec looked back at her, " I have some more good news for you if you want it. I know the gender of them both. Would you like to know what they are?" Felicity looked at Nik, and he nodded. " We want to know." They answered together. Alec smiled. You're having a boy and girl." Felicity and Nik smiled at each other. " Thank you, Alec. You've made me very happy." "I'm glad. You can go ahead and pull your shirt down. I'll have the sonogram pictures printed out and ready for you at the front desk." He walked out the door. Felicity pulled her shirt down. And started crying. In a good way, with Nik's arms coming around her and her head on his shoulder.
