Two months later, Felicity was on the phone with Nik. She was in the living room when she heard a noise, she put her phone down with Nik still on the line. " Someone is here, Nik." An arm snaked around her, and she screamed. " I told you to get rid of the brat. Now you didn't listen, I'll do it for you," as he said those words her water broke. The labor pains had started a couple of hours ago, and she thought they were Braxton Hicks Contractions. She was obviously very wrong about that. He started hitting her, she tried to protect herself as much as she could, he hit her in the head really hard. She blinked her eyes and tried to stay awake. She saw Nik come very quietly through the door, he charged at Jesse, knocking him over. He put his knee in to Jesse's back, while a police officer put handcuffs on him. He hurried over to Felicity, and knelt down next to her. Her eyes were closed, "Felicity?" Nik said. Her eyes fluttered. Can you hear me, Felicity?" She moaned and opened her eyes. " I'm in labor. It started a couple of hours ago, but my water just broke."

He picked her up and carried her to his truck. He set her inside and buckled her in. He jumped in and started driving to the hospital, looking over he noticed that she had her eyes closed. " Hey, you can't fall asleep. You might have a concussion." " I don't. I used to be a nurse. I know the signs." She bit out. A contraction hit her pretty hard. Her hand sought out his, and he brought it to his lips and told her she was going to be fine. " I know I'm going to be fine, but I was wondering, Will you be in there for their births? You've helped me understand that a lot more men than I though can be trusted." Nik looked at her. " I would be honored to be there. Are you sure?" Felicity squeezed his hand. " I'm positive." He quickly pulled into a parking spot at the hospital. " Alec is working tonight. I'll show you to a room, follow me." Nik carried Felicity in his arms. While he carried her she tensed up with another contraction.
