Ok so I got home and the next few weeks were not much. Me and jack went a date and Matt and I haven't talked since the fair. It's was Summer now and I woke up at 11:36am and went down stairs to my sister and my mom talking. My mom looked at me with the biggest smile I've seen on her face in a long time.
"Hey sweetie!"
"Hey"
"We need to talk" she went into the living room expecting us to follow and we did. She sat down and continued, "so, me and your father are talking about moving. Because of dad's job."
It was silent.
"Where would we move." My sister said in a bitchy tone.
"North Carolina" "Mrs. Espinosa which is one of your dads co-workers is also moving down to North Carolina. I think you might know her son?" She said in kind of a question. I nodded and she smiled. Great. I'm moving away from jack with Matt. (Hit the sarcasm)
"When are we moving?" I asked worried
"In a week, so we need to start packing now"
Me and my sister nod. My mom hands us boxes and we head upstairs to start packing. I put all of my tops in one box write ' Meredith's clothes' on the box. I put all of my shorts,skirts, jeans, and leggings in two boxes, and write 'Meredith's pants' I start putting all of my makeup and jewelry in one box except the makeup for this week. I run out of boxes and head down stairs for more boxes and head back upstairs and start packing shoes, swimsuits, and dresses in separate boxes. It's now 4:38pm and I'm getting hungry so I go down stairs and get some dinner and I get a call from jack,
"Hey babe, date on Friday"I realize that's the day I'm leaving so I say no.
"Why?"
"I'll tell you later."
So after that I went upstairs and starting packing again. It's was now 12:27pm. Wow time went by fast. I started getting hungry again so I went down stairs and got a midnight snack. When I was heading back upstairs I got a text from jack,
"Hey come outside, we need to talk."
"Ok" I'm a little nervous
I walk outside and I don't see jack anywhere. All of sudden someone pulled me down to the grass. Thank god. It was jack.
"What the hell!"
"Sorry"
He offered me a hand and I gladly accepted. We stood up and jack was just starring at me.
"What?"
"When were you going to tell me you were moving?"
"Who told you!"
"Your sister"
"Shit!"
"Where you not gonna tell me?" He seamed mad
"I was its just I found out today and I wanted to tell you in person so, guess what! I'm moving!" We both laughed
"I'm sorry, I heard Matt is moving too. He's moving to North Carolina, where are you moving? I hope not that far." He smirked
"I'm moving to North Carolina too." His smile suddenly faded
"With Matt?"
"Yeah we got a house in the same neighborhood as Matt."
"I hope you know that Matt likes you."
"I know." It was suddenly silent
