Where driving to North Carolina and it's takes like six hours from where we used to live and when we get there I get out of the car and the truck pulls up and mom starts telling the guys where to put the stuff and Skyler starts telling me what room she's getting but I can hear a word she's saying because of the brown haired blue eyed boy that looks about my age. Skyler stopped talking to me and I realized that she also saw the boy. He was throwing a ball with this little girl with really blonde hair. They look kinda familiar. And when I look closer I know who it is. It's Nash and skylynn Grier. He notices me and Skyler looking then him and skylynn start walking in our direction.
"Hi my name is nash, and this is my little sister skylynn!"
And before I could introduce myself, my sister practically shouts.
"Hi! My name is Skyler, aren't you a little cutie!" She says to skylynn
"HI!"
Nash and Skyler start talking leaving me to talk to skylynn. I didn't mind she was adorable. But the thing that made me really mad was that Skyler didn't even know Nash's name before he even said it. And I guess skylynn could tell.
"What's wrong-?" I forgot I didn't even tell her my name.
"Meredith, my name is Meredith." And when I said that I saw that Nash looked at me and smiled. And like 10 minutes later Skyler and Nash started walking towards Nash's house. Nash is talking to our mom while Skyler is talking to me.
"Hey listen up, me and Nash are going to watch a movie so don't interrupt ok?" Saying it more as a question. I nod and walk into our new house with skylynn since Nash left me to babysit. Which I didn't really mind cause the cutest thing ever! In fact she's not a bitch to me like my actual sister is. Me and Skylynn walk in and see a lot of the furniture already in the house. Since Skyler isn't here right now I'm gonna take the advantage to get the biggest room besides the one my mom picked. I walk into my new room and it was bigger than my old one. My mom came in and saw skylynn.
"Hey...who's this?"
"Our neighbor, skylynn. Her brother left to watch a movie with Skyler." She nods and continues,
"Come down and tell the movers where to put your stuff, ok."
Once the guys got all of my stuff skylynn help me decorate my room. It was now like 9:30pm and I decided to take skylynn home so her mom won't be worrying about her. I take her to her front door and we knock together. Her mom answered and said thanks,
"Thank you so much! Sorry that you had to babysit skylynn."
"Oh it's no big deal. She's is an angel I didn't mind."
Her mom ran inside for a moment and me and skylynn said bye
"Bye Meredith! Can you play with me tomorrow?" She gave me the puppy dog eyes that I couldn't say no to.
"I'd love too!"
Her mom came back and gave me a $50.
"Thanks Mrs. Grier!"
"Call me Elizabeth!"
We said bye for the last time and I went back home. An hour later Skyler came home and started yelling at me and mom about why she got the smallest room. Mom had to give her money for clothes so she would get over it. Bye the time I woke up it was 11:36am so I got ready had breakfast and went over to Nash's house to get skylynn. And Nash answered.
