He was definitely handsome and so very sweet. To me he looked like a warrior who had trained for years nonstop. His skin was golden tan stained from the sun. His eyes. His eyes could maybe stop time as well as his smile. That was my favorite thing about him. His smile made me feel joy in a second in my darkest hour. Shakespeare believed in love at first sight, I believed him when I met Jake.

"So... what's your name?" He asks quietly as if he were to say the wrong thing I would punish him. "Sydney" I answer quickly after his question. He stares at me and then at the road then back at me again.  This pattern repeated as if he was reading a book. He smiled at me for a good 5 minutes just staring and smiling. I couldn't tell what this meant. I just stare at the road pretending not to notice. "Okay, where are you going. Cause I'm going to RochFord." I try to think of some different places I saw on the Colorado map but can't recall any. However, maybe Jake can show me around and give me an opportunity to find a job. I respond a moment after saying RochFord as well. As the minutes go by, we finally make it to RochFord. The town was desolate and small. There were millions of trees surrounding the small city and only few people walked the streets. Dirt lay barrier in between the crevasses of concert and road. A light wind blows up some dead pine needles and dust to the front of the car. Tiny crackling noises from the pine needles hitting the front window pops in my ear. "Is it all right if I drop you off here?" Jake asks as he pulls into a small diner called Jill's. I nod my head and open the door. "Thank you Jake, that was super nice of you. Hopefully I see you around," I say. "I would definitely like to get to know you a bit more" he responds and smiles. He closes my door from inside the car and pulls out of the driveway and reverses into the street. In my mind I thought that will be the last I see of Jake. However, his car stops into a small shop across the street from the diner. The shop read Camping Supplies. I smile at him as he exits his car. "What a small world" he says and laughs. He enters the shop and waves back at me. I smile and wave back and head inside the diner.
