Many kids had yet not finished. I asked Arial if she wanted to sit and she agreed.

"How come you didn't have a date?" she asked me.

"I just did't. What about you?"

"Well, I didn't want one."

"So you don't want me?"

"It's not you," she said,"I just....these guys are....not good you can say." She wasn't sure how to say. She didn't want to sound very....mean towards them. I guess Jackson was right. I could tell that she was telling me the truth. Her eyes were like an open book. I could easily understand it.

"Maybe I'm like them," I said.

"Your not," she said with confidence.

"And what makes you think so?"

"Well bad guys don't save a girl from a criminal. They don't help an old man. They don't bake cakes. They don't come without a date." I looked at her amazed. She was right. I wasn't a bad guy. I was a dangerous vampire.

"So did you like the decorations?" she asked.

"Yeah. It looks good. The charts and all are creative."

"Which chart did you like the most?"

"Well...the open at the entrance. Its of a girl."

"Why?" She asked curiously.

"Her eyes. Their depth. They looked sad...lonely. It is beautiful and meaningful. I'm sure the artist is a great person. Someone who understands the depth of things."

"You don't know who drew it?" She asked softly.

"I didn't get a chance to see. Do you know?"

"No I don't," she said and looked away. She was thinking about something. She looked.....pleased I guess.

"Hey boy!" I turned around and saw Lexy. I was in no mood to deal with her. "Who is your date? Maybe you could ditch her and we could become the king and queen."

"I'm not like you," I said through clenched teeth. She looked beside me and saw Arial. Her eyes widened.

"You bitch! How dare you try to take him away from me!" She was about to touch Arial when I stood in between.

"Go and enjoy your time with your date." I was angry. She flinched at my tone but didn't move.

"You don't know her. She's a bitch who tries to take away everyone's boyfriends. She just slee..." I didn't let her finish it.

"Shut up," I yelled at her." You know what, she is a great girl. Unlike you who tries to flirt with every guy she sees. She is way prettier than you. Its just that she's better than you so guys want to date her and not you." I took Arial's hand and took her away from there.

We stepped out of the hall. I could tell that she was glad I did it. We stayed quite. There was a bench and I led he towards it. I saw her rubbing her arm. I removed my coat and placed it over her shoulders.

"Thanks," she said. I nodded my head in reply. The silence that feel upon us was comfortable.

"How do you know I'm not like Lexy?" She asked me in a low voice.

"Just like you know I'm not a bad guy."

"Did you mean everything you said in there?" I think I did. If was a human I would like to date a girl like her.

"Yes."

"Do you really think I'm prettier than her?" I wanted to hold her face and make her look into my eyes. I wanted her to know that she was a great girl. I couldn't. I can't touch her.

"You are," I said with a smile.

After sometime, a boy came to call us for the last game.

"You wanna go?" I asked her.

"Lets do it." She gave me my coat and we started walking. After we went in, Lexy whispered something in Arial's ear. "See how I become the queen, bitch." Did she really think she would win? I won't let her. She won't become the queen. Arial will.

"We will win this," I whispered in her ear. She looked up at me with confused eyes. She was about to say something, when they started announcing.

"Okay so last we have the paper dance. Lets see who wins." I saw Lexy glaring at us. A boy handed us a paper.

We stepped on it. A slow music was playing in the background. Arial put her hands around my neck. I put my hands around her waist but I didn't touch her. We swayed to the music. She was staring in my eyes and so was I.

I was thinking about her. She was really a great girl.

After sometime they made us fold the paper. There was very little space. Arial placed her head on my shoulder and hugged me. My hand rested the same way. I saw Jackson and Sally lose control. They were out. Jackson came towards me and pushed my hands towards Arial's waist.

"Come on bro," he said and went away winking towards me.

"Its okay," Arial whispered. I let my hand touch her skin very lightly. Her warmth was spreading over my body. I was enjoying it.

After sometime, the paper was again folded. This time Arial had to put her feet on mine. She tried not to put a lot of weight. I felt no pain nor weight. It was hardly anything. I saw several guys giving up. For them it sure was difficult.

Last, only we and Lexy was left. The paper was so small that only one person could stand on it. I put my one hand around Arial's waist and the other one below her knee. I lifted her in my arms. Lexy's date did the same. Then we stepped on the paper.

I was staring at Arial again. She did nothing when her fragile body touched my hard one. I was thankful for it. After a while, I saw the other guy struggling to hold Lexy. For me, Arial was almost weightless. I could hold her in my arms forever and not get tired.

After about fifteen minutes, the guy feel down with Lexy. I was happy that she didn't win. She was wrong about being the queen. I think Arial is a much better candidate for it.

I gently placed Arial down. She smiled towards me and went to Lexy. I followed behind her.

"So Lexy, I was wondering how you will become the queen now. You gave this new idea cause you wanted to be one. Unfortunately....you can't." She caught my hand and started walking.
Lexy gave the idea?

"That was good huh!"

"Well thank you," she said with a smile.

"Well now we have three winners. They will compete with each other but not today. It will be on Christmas eve. The three couples have to choreograph a dance. Best dancer will be announced as the king and queen. Now ladies and gentlemen, please enjoy your selves."

"This wasn't it," Arial whispered very softly.
