Was this a trick of my mind? It wasn't possible.

"Nic," she said. I pinched my arm. It was freaking real. There she stood staring at me with her hair flying in the air.

"I knew," she said. I continued staring at her. She looked beautiful. More than before if that's possible. Did she just say something?

"What?" I asked. I completely forgot the fact that she saw me jumping from about thirty feet without any injury. No human could possibly do that.

"I knew," she repeated.

"What?" What's she talking about?

"Okay. Lets get this straight. I know you are a vampire," she said with a straight face. Wait, what? Was she serious? No. She can't possibly know. She saw me jumping from a tree. But it doesn't make me a vampire, right.

"Sorry. Are you messing with me?" I said with small smile.

"I'm not," she said.

"Arial, vampires don't exist. They are just made by us," I said trying to convince her.

"Really?" She asked with a raises brow. She seemed so sure about herself. It looked like she knew it. It wasn't a guess. It was like she had confirmed herself.

"I've known for a long time," she said. I couldn't help the frown that came on my face. She was dead serious. It was clear on her face.

"How?" I asked in a serious voice.

"I figured it out. Your touch. You not eating anything. You strength."

"My strength?" I asked.

"Yes. The night you saved me, you threw the man about thirty feet away. And also cracked the wall he dashed into. A human can't do it," she said. I don't even remember throwing him that far. For me it was near but it wasn't for humans.

"This isn't the entire reason, is it?" Obviously, this just proved I was different from them. It had given her no reason to bring alive a frictional character.

"No," she said.

"What's the other reason?"

"Some other time," she said and started walking towards the forest.

"Where are you going? It's dangerous for you," I said.

"You won't let anything happen," she said with confidence.

I went to walk by her side.

"Why are you not running away?"

"Why should I?" She asked looking straight.

"I'm a vampire. A human blood drinker. You are a human. Isn't that reason enough?"

"You won't kill me Nic," she said. How I had missed her say my name.

"Why won't I? This is my chance. No will even know," I said.

"You had many chances already. In fact that day in the alley you could kill. Did you? No. Even now you have no intention of doing it. You would have already it by now if you wanted to." What do I do with this girl? She's not a bit scared. Is she a normal human? I'm actually doubting it.

"What are you doing here? Like in the forest." No one. I mean NO ONE came to these woods.

"I like them. I have several memories here. I just come to relive them now and then," she said. Memories? Here.

"Are you not afraid?"

"Huh...animals don't hunt during day."

"You are..." I didn't know what to say. She was so much more than I could say.

"Why didn't you kill me?" She asked.

"I don't," I said.

"Sorry?"

"I fed on animals," I said.

"I thought it was impossible to do that," she said.

"We can. Only if we have the will to do it. We need to be that strong." She looked a bit sad on hearing this. Did she not like me feeding on animals?

"What's wrong?" I asked her.

"Nothing," she said.

"You have no problem of me being a vampire?"

"No. I don't mind," she said.

"Why?" I was a VAMPIRE for his sake. She should be terrified. I mean if I happen to breath she will be dead.

"You are a good person Nicholas. Even if you are a vampire. You saved me and grandpa too," she said.

"John?"

"You gave him your blood, didn't you?"

"How do you know?" This girl...

"He had leukemia. Something incurable. Well...except your blood. That night I had gone to his room. I saw that there was some blood in the saline. I changed the bottle. Next day he was fine. That's how I knew. Doctors wanted to run some tests on him. But I refused as your blood was still in his system," she said.

"How do you know so much about vampires?" She knew almost every darn thing.

"I just know. Please don't ask how. I will tell you later on," she replied in a sad tone. I didn't press further. We sat on a branch for sometime and then left.

I offered to walk her home But she refused saying she needed to be alone for sometime.
