I thought about it for about a week. It's kind of really difficult to figure it out. I'm sure that I like her but.....she's a human. I'm not. We can never. I MEAN NEVER be together.

I'm so freaking messed up. I have no idea what to do. I mean I cannot risk telling her about me. I'll be revealing Chris and Casey as well. I obviously can't do this to them.

I had to go to the supermarket today. I had not gone for about a week now.

"I'm leaving," I said and went out. I ran till the outskirts of the town. Then I had to walk like a normal human. Finally I reached my destination.

I saw John at the counter.

"Hey boy," he said on seeing me.

"Hi. How are you feeling?" I asked.

"Healthier than ever," he said with a laugh. I had missed him just like this.

"Good to hear," I said with a smile.

"Why don't you come around today?"

"I...I can't. I have my shift today," I said. "Do you want me to drop it for you," I asked looking at the bag in his hand.

"Come on boy, its just some eggs. I'm yet strong," he said.

"You are," I said. Then John left. I saw Mr. Cooke glaring at me. (Mr. Cooke is the guy at the counter at the supermarket.)

"Where were you?" He asked me.

"Wasn't keeping well," I lied.

I walked through different sections lost in my thoughts.

That's when it happened. I dashed into someone. It was a woman in her 20s.

Wait...something wasn't right. I stared at her. She was staring back. I heard no heart beat. What was she? Both of us had shocked expressions.

This wasn't good at all. We vampires had our territories. We didn't like intruders. If the vampires living in an area has a problem with the new ones, then the new ones have to leave the place immediately.

I'm not sure if she's a vampire or no.

"Who are you?" She was glaring at me now. I looked around and saw Mr.Cooke staring at us.

"Not now. At 1 behind the high school," I said. She understood and went away. So she was a vampire I guess.

What was she doing in a super market? That too she was taking fruits.

I had her on my mind the entire time. Should I tell Cas and Chris about this? I think I should. I hope it goes well.

That lady...had I seen her before?

At around 3, I saw a familiar face coming towards me.

"Hey Nick," Jackson said. Ugh...I was in no mood for this.

"Hey," I said in least enthusiastic voice.

"You are so happy to see me bro," he said with sarcasm.

I had to force a smile. I didn't want to seem rude. He came and gave me a hug.

"Your so stiff," he said. "Actually I wanted to ask you if you like want to hang out with me and my friends. We are going to play paintball. You can come if you want."

"Maybe next time," I said.

"Arial's coming too," he said. Why was telling me that.

"Don't give me that confused look. I know you like her. Isn't it obvious? Let me tell you, if you like a girl go tell her before it's late," he said. Only if he knew that my case was absolutely different. I smiled at him.

"See you around," he said and left.

I wish my life was as simple as his. I hope it wouldn't suck like it does. But no one can do anything, can they?

I had a lot on my mind. I had to go home and tell Cas and Chris about that lady.

I reached home. Casey wasn't there. She still worked at the cafe. I told Chris about that lady.

"Guess we have got company," he said.

"Yeah. Do we tell Cas about this?" I asked.

"No. She'll keep worrying about it."

"Okay," I replied.

I was desperately waiting for this new puzzle to be solved as soon as possible.
