Meanwhile, Lukie waited a couple of minutes before showing life. He slowly stood up, looking around. "That fat man is gone. Now I must find a way out of here," he muttered when he quickly took out his flute. He thought if he commands the lid to open, it will. But when he played the first note, the sound bounces back and forth inside the jar. Creating a very loud ringing sound. Lukie dropped the flute and covered his ears. "Bad idea, bad idea," he muttered as he sat down holding his ears until the travel sound found its way out of the jar.
"The top didn't' even move a little. This never happened to me. Need to think and figure out something before the sun rises again. Thin was laying on his bed with the covers over his head, peek from underneath, waiting for the moment his father locked the door. Then as usually Mark walked down the wall, covered his son door, then went into his bedroom and locked the door behind him. Thin got up from his bed and slowly peek out his bedroom door. "Good, Dad's door is close time to go snoop," he whispered as he open and closed his bedroom door slowly making sure he didn't make a sound. He then tiptoes towards his dad's office. The door had a large glass. He couldn't see inside clearly, but from the inside, you could see perfectly.
Thin attempted to open the door. He then realized it was locked. "I must see it again. It kind of look like that flying thing I saw early in the forest. It glowed the same way." he muttered as he tries to see through the thick one-way glass.
Meanwhile, "I must get out!" yelled Lukie as he began to bang on the glass jar. As he did this, his wings lite up, with his beautiful bright colors. "There it goes again! It's not dead, it's glowing, I knew I saw it glow early when dad tries to cover it. I must get in there." said Thin as he quietly headed to the kitchen and grabbed a butter knife, then headed back to try to pride the door open. He pointed out this for about an hour. Then with no choice, "I'm sorry, but we must meet another day, I need my sleep. But I know you're in there." he whispered through the door. Then Lukie lite his wings again. "Wow, you do hear me. Blink twice if you hear me." the young boy suggested. Then Lukie made his wings blink twice.
"Oh, wow, you do hear me. I'll see you tomorrow, I'll find a way to get you out," said Thin with a big smile as he headed back to bed, then quickly falling asleep.
Lukie heard what the boy said. "The kid is going to try to help me. Go figures, the little bully does have a good side. Well, there's nothing else I can do, but, get some shut-eye. Then when fatty returns, play dead again. " he said to himself as he laid on the bottom of the glass jar and went to sleep.
