three: DJ in love?

its Monday afternoon and I go over to the football field to pick up DJ from football practice I see him talking to a girl, a short white girl with blond hair but I can't see her face

''DJ bring your nappy head on'' I yell laughing as some of the other football players join in, he gives me a glare and then give the girl a kiss on the check and slowly jogs toward the car

''did you have to embarrass me like that'' he says putting on his seat belt

''you are my younger brother of course I have to'' I say smiling ''so who is the girl''

''why you wouldn't care'' he says

''oh come on, please tell me'' I say playfully punching him in his arm

''fine her name is Brianna'' he says looking out the window

''wait Brianna Crawford'' I ask wondering if it was the same Brianna they had similar features short, white, blond haired

''yea how you know'' he asks

''that's the sweet girl I meet at the water park'' i say stopping at a red light

''its whatever''he says now on his phone

''noo'' I say turning in our driveway ''she has been hurt before and she, she umm never mind but don't hurt her'' I say grabbing my stuff and getting out as DJ does the same

mom was at work again so I had to make dinner I made some chicken Alfredo and garlic bread.

''shmaya, DJ dinner ready'- DJ rushed down stairs

'' about dinner I invited someone over'' DJ said starching the back of his head

''umm excuse you who do u think you are" I say putting my hands on my hips

'' I invited Brianna'' he said

my face straightened up and I took my hands off my hips

'fine just this one time b/c I know and like her, but don't get ahead of yourself and just invite people to dinner without me knowing, got it'' I say sounding like mom

''yes mama'' he said laughing

''I'm serious'' the sound of shmaya footsteps coming from the stairs stopped our conversation

''what took you so long?" I ask

''I was doing homework'' she says I knew she was lying but I decided to confront her later the doorbell ring and I went to open and sure enough it was Bri

after we all finish eating dinner shMaya headed up stairs she said something about going to sleep early and Bri decided to stay longer so her and DJ were watching TV on the couch so I decided to take a quick shower

after I got out the shower and wrapped my hair and put on my pajamas it was 11:46 I walked down stairs and over to the couch when I seen that Bri was under DJ right arm and her hand was on his chest both of them sleep I was gonna wake her up but then I thought

about when she said she had two days left it was pasted two days so where was she staying and who would come pick her up this time of night so I decide to leave them be

I walked over to the TV and clicked it off

''JoJo''I heard a voice say I turned to see DJ sitting up a little

''yea'' I say

''can she stay the night, please'' he begged

''I was gonna let her stay anyways come on take her to the guest room'' I say leading the way but when I looked behind me he wasn't there

'' can she stay here'' he say looking at bri moving her hair out her gave

''you really like her don't you'' I say smiling weakly

he shoke her head '' I do I know I haven't known her for that long but I know we have something and I don't really say that bout a lot of girls but she really special''

I could see the love and passion in his eyes he really meant it I shoke my head ''yea I guess she can sleep here, good night DJ'' I said walking upstairs I couldn't believe it DJ had a crush or maybe be in LOVE
