"so you wanna go this Saturday to look for a dress"jade said slirping her milkshake
"I told you I wasn't going no one asked me" I say playing with the salt shakers in the table
"come on, you have to go and besides 5 guys already asked you" she said
"but I don't like any of them" I said "just pick one, you have to go to prom" she said nodging at my arm when this cute guy walks to our table
"hi" he said as I realized it was jarmal the guy I knew every since 4th grade
"hi" I said "what would you like to order" he asked taking a pencil and a writing pad out of the apron he was wearing that I didn't notice, he must work here
"a prom date" I said joking
" well, I can be your prom date" he said sitting next to me
"really" I asked shocked
"yea your beautiful, smart, funny, charming of course I would love to go with you" he said
"well then its a date, prom date" I say as he walks away
