"well you are gonna have to tell her sooner or later" Gavin said
"I know can I tell her later" I say he gives me a look
"if it will make you feel better, I go with you to tell her" Gavin said rubbing my back I give him a weak smile, and walk to sit on the couch
"oh, now" I say looking at him and he nods his head
I get up and grabs Gavin's hand as we walk up stairs to my mom room I knock on the door, and she steps out
"yes" she says " mom we have something to tell you" I say nervous "well what is it" she says "me and Gavin, umm we, won prom king and queen" I say
"oh wow, sweetie that's great" she said when Gavin nodges me with his elbow
"Mrs. Stevens me and Jocelyn are engaged" gavin blurts it out
"WHAT" she yells "you guys are way to young he is just gonna be ur baby daddy, he is gonna leave you soon as another offer comes along" she said angry
"mom me and Gavin are in love, this is the right thing to do" I say grabbing Gavin's hand again
"yea you may think that now but wait til you have three kids and working 3 times a day to make ends meat" she said crying now
"this isn't about us its about you and dad" I say
