"Gavin, STOP" I say beginning to yell "I really wanna be with you, but I can't until I figure out things with Dylan" I say rubbing my forehead "I get it" he says walking out

the next day at school
I walk up to Dylan at his locker
"hi" I say smiling faintly "sup" he says giving me a kiss
"umm I need to talk to you" I say not smiling anymore "oh sounds serious"he says shutting his locker "umm, to tell the truth I still have feelings for Gavin, and I can't date someone but be in love with someone else"I say as his smile fades away
"what you are dumping me for that wanna be thug" he says grabbing my wrist "don't call him that" I say as his grip gets tighter
"let go you are hurting me" I say, he pulls me in a janitor closet "you are not going to break up with me for him" he says his voice rising
"dylan" I say as he takes his hand out his pocket and slaps me I jump back and hold my face
"DYLAN WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU" I yell
"shut up, you black ape" he yells "oh you crossed the line, now" I say as I push him into a shelf knocking him and some brooms down I hop on him and punch him repeatedly in the nose, he pushed me off him and punched me in my rib the spot that took the longest to heal when I was in the hospital
I couldn't move he got up, and spit on me, and if you tell anyone,that's all he said and walked out

after about 1 hour and a half I finally got the strength to get up, I walk into the hall and bump into Gavin
"hey there, wait what happened" he asked trying to lift my head up to see my bruised eye
"nothing I ran into a pole" I say not looking at him
"no you didn't is it Dylan" he asks
"no" I say walking away
