"being away from you got me thinking I can't go without having you in my life, I want to spend the rest of my life with you" he says kneeling on one knee
everybody turned and starting staring at us more then they were b4
"will you marry me" he asks holding my hand as everyone cheers for me to say yes
I think for a while,
"I don't know what to say, I mean, wow" I say still stunned
"SAY YES" someone in the crowds yells
"you accepted it when you thought it was a promise ring" he said "yea b/c I didn't know it was a marriage ring" I say
"oh just say yes" jade yells tearing up
"yes" I say
as he gets up and grabs my waist and kisses my soft lips I wrap my arms around his neck thinking how lucky I am to have a guy as good as him

after prom we drop jade and Craig off first then my house but Gavin comes in
"hey ma" I say not looking in her eyes we still wasn't on talking terms yet "hey, how was prom" she asked eyeing my dress
"it was great, somebody even got engaged" I say trying to play it off
"oh my god are you serious, who would be stupid enough to do something like that, they only like 18 -19, they know soon as the boy be the baby daddy he gonna leave her" she said looking angry
"mom but they are adults, now" I say
"you acting like it was you" she said walking away
"how am I gonna tell her now" I say staring at Gavin then the ring on my finger
