Chapter two: rules & door check

Recap:

So I stand up on a table and scream at the top of my lungs, everyone soon quite down after that and now they're just staring at me. 'crap what do I do, why wont they look away' I thought to myself as I could feel my hands getting sweaty with everyone staring at me, gulping down my nervous I bucked up the courage to speak.

"now listen up everyone, I know you're scared hell I am too but we all need to calm down and listen to Angie because if we don't then this place will turn into a blood bath, so please quite down so we can think this through and get this place under control" I said to them all and surely enough they all turned towards Angie to see what she had to say.

"Thank you Alison" Angie said to me, smiling in my direction as a thank you for helping, I smiled back to her and got down off the table to let the attention go to her, I looked around to see where my friends are and after a few seconds I see them all together by the stair case so I walked over to them while listening to what's being said about the situation.

Reaching my friends I stood by the side of my Lillian McKenzie, we all call her lily for short, she doesn't like being called Lillian she hates it she always has. Standing on the right side of her was my other friend Mason Campbell, he's like the father figure of the group, I got to many friends most of them are probably dead by now hopefully some of them have survived, their all smart enough to know what to do, hopefully my family are safe too.

"now listen up everyone, I don't know what's going on outside but as long as we stay inside and bored up the doors, and set some ground rules, hopefully we'll survive this, but we just need to keep calm. Now we're going to put out ground rules for everyone so listen up" Angie said loudly so everyone can hear her, as she stands on a chair like I did with the table.

"now the rules are simple, rule 1; stay inside till help arrives. Rule 2; at night we dim the lights. Rule 3; no fighting amongst ourselves. Rule 4; we stick together as a team. Rule 5..."As she numbered off the rules I had started to blank out her voice and starting to think to myself.

'those things out there, I can still hear them banging on the doors, I'm just glad we blocked the doors but... they aren't the only doors in the college, there are three slide doors and two double doors on the main floor and if we're all worried about the first main slide doors, what about the other's did anyone think to check them... oh my god!' I came out of my thoughts after realising that we could still be in danger, turning to my left I went up a couple of steps on the staircase we were standing next too.

Looking over everyone's heads towards the second main slide, only to see that they blocked that one as well, so I jumped down the steps to walk past everyone who's still listening to Angie, my friend Caden saw that I was walking somewhere else so he followed me not before signalling to Matthew and Lily to come with him.

"ally! Where are you going, we need to stick together not wonder about the place" Lily scolded me, her face showing a mix of concern and serious, which is unusual for her as she normally the one who's having fun and doesn't let anything get to her.
