Chapter 1: keep calm 

It was a normal day when it happened, one minute you're in class having fun and the next you can hear screaming coming from outside of the collage, so we all got up and walked out of the classroom to see what all the noise was about but once we had made it outside, we were horrified at the sight before us. Blood was everywhere, body's on the ground, people screaming, crying for help, and the worst of all is the people who died didn't stay dead, they came back as one of them.

"help me please" someone said to our tutor, Angie, grabbing at her legs with blood pouring out of his wound on his neck, my tutor got down on her knees to help him, but he had already died from blood loss and was now trying to chew her flesh off.

We all froze from what we witness, a man dying in front of us from what seems to be a bite mark on his neck and now he's trying to take a bite out of our tutor, realising that he was pinning her down I rushed forward to help her, grabbing his shoulders I pulled him off of her and slammed him down to the ground, helping my tutor up on her feet and pulled her towards the others leaving that thing on the ground as it tries to crawl to us. 

"we need to get inside, right now" I said pulling everyone back inside, after getting everyone back in I didn't realise that one of those things was coming up to the side of me.

"ally, look out!" One of my friends Charlie shouted at me, pointing to the side of me, turning around I just about caught the thing by putting my hands out and holding it away from me by pushing its chest, taking my left leg behind it while pushing it backwards with my hands, bringing my leg down on the back of its knee's as it fall to the ground, I ran to get inside with the others after taken it down.

I bent down and rested my hands on my knees trying to catch my breath from the fright I felt after that, 'what was that thing', 'what's happening out there?' Those are the words that I hear around me, more and more people are surrounding me trying to get answers that I don't have.

"okay everyone that's enough, cant you see your stressing her out, lets leave her be people" Jeremy said, as he and Ethan my other friend starts to push everyone away from me, after catching my breath I walk back to the classroom but I'm stopped on my way there by my tutor trying to calm everyone down but no ones listening to her because their too scared to do anything right.

So I stand up on a table and scream at the top of my lungs, everyone soon quite down after that and now they're just staring at me. 'crap what do I do, why wont they look away' I thought to myself as I could feel my hands getting sweaty with everyone staring at me, gulping down my nervous I bucked up the courage to speak.

"now listen up everyone, I know you're scared hell I am too but we all need to calm down and listen to Angie because if we don't then this place will turn into a blood bath, so please quite down so we can think this through and get this place under control" I said to them all and surely enough they all turned towards Angie to see what she had to say.

"Thank you Alison" Angie said to me, smiling in my direction as a thank you for helping, I smiled back to her and got down off the table to let the attention go to her, I looked around to see where my friends are and after a few seconds I see them all together by the stair case so I walked over to them while listening to what's being said about the situation.

hey guys if you've read this then thank you very much, this is my first story on wattpad I've done some stories on a website called quotev but they kinda suck so I would read them, anyways what this story basically is that a collage girl gets trapped in her school with everyone else, some people die unfortunately, within a couple of days the government arrive and they say that their gonna take us to safety but to do that we need to wait for busses to come get us, so in the mean time they have set up a mini military base, and they have a quarantine area for the infected across the road in another building, someone close to the main character arrives and something happens (NO SPOILERS)

so after the whole drama at the collage, the busses come and takes them to safety, or so they thought, they get training, mental breakdowns, going out to find more survivor's, losing loved ones, getting split up from group, everything gone.

well that's just a glimpse of what's to come, I'll try to make it longer and more detailed in whats happening hope you guys like it
