Okay, so, I know I said I was done with this story and I rushed through the end and everything and basically said I was over 5SOS but...
WANT YOU BACK IS A WHOLE BOP AND A HALF AND LITERALLY NOT AT ALL WHAT I EXPECTED FROM THEM.
Half of their "og fans" seem to hate the change in style, but I personally love it so, so, soooo much?? Like I haven't liked a song on the first listen since Never Be the Same by Camila Cabello came out lol. I'd like to think my "great song" standards are high as hell, and Want You Back went above and beyond everything I thought I'd be.
(((I am kinda salty only Luke sang, but it's a bop so I respect whoever made that decision.)))
ANYWAY, IM SUPER GLAD 5SOS IS BACK. LIKE GENUINELY MISSED THEIR MUSIC.
And just for the record for anybody mad at the style change, I'm pretty sure they'll go back to their "punk rock roots" for the majority of their new stuff when it's released, so calm ya tits and give it time.
