GAIL’S POV

I couldn’t believe what just happened! Am I having a nightmare?! Please anybody, wake me up! Grabe! Kurt declared awhile ago that I’m now his property without my consent? Ano yun? Trip trip lang? And hello? Has he forgotten that I told him not to bother me anymore or even talk to me at all?! He’s really a jerk ~___~

“MS. RIVERA!” 

Nabitawan ko ang pen ko sa pagkagulat sabay sambit ng, “Ay, Ms. Rivera! Yes, sir?” Napaangat yung ulo ko sa tumawag sa akin. Nagulat ako dun ah! Nabalik tuloy ako sa planet earth. Nag-susulat-sulat kasi ako ng kung ano-ano sa notes ko, wala lang absent-minded eh. Patay baka hindi ko masagot yung question niya.

“Are you with us? Seems you’re busy in what you were writing there huh?” Prof

Napatingin ako sa right side ko. Dito nga pala niya ako pinaupo katabi niya. Aba’t tatawa-tawa pa? Tadyakan kita sa nose eh ~______~

Binalingan ko ulit si Sir. “Yes sir, I was just taking down notes.” A BIG LIE.. Patay, baka i-check niya ang sinusulat ko. Ano nga ba sinusulat ko?

Teka. Ako ba nagsulat nito?!?!

“Okay good. So, if you were really listening, could you please enumerate the 8 parts of speech?” Nilagay niya ang pointing finger niya sa baba niya. Hinahamon ako ni prof ah!

I stood up proudly. With self-confidence lang. 

“First is VERB. It’s an action or state. Second is NOUN. It indicates a thing or a person. Third is ADJECTIVE. It describes a noun. Fourth is ADVERB. It describes a verb, adjective or an adverb itself.” I paused and looked at the ceiling for a brief moment. “What else? Ahmm.. Fifth is PRONOUN. It replaces a noun. Sixth is PREPOSITION. It links a noun to another word. Hmm.. seventh is INTERJECTION. It is a short exclamation, sometimes inserted into a sentence and lastly, CONJUNCTION. It joins clauses,sentences or words. Sir, is that all? Or do you want me to give some examples?"

*SILENCE*

The prof smiled at me. “Very good! You’re really impressive, Ms. Rivera.”

Ayyiieee!!! Tama ako! Tama ako! Nakachamba ka, Gail! Buti nag-advance read ako sa subject na ito. Yippee \\(*u*)//

Napatingin ulit ako kay Kurt. Nakatingin din siya sa akin na parang hindi makapaniwalang nasagot ko. Binelatan ko lang siya. “BLEH!”

I just saw him wink and smiled at me.

*LUB DUB LUB DUB*

Ano ba yan! Ano na bang nangyayari sa mundo ngayon?! Mababaliw na ako sa sarili ko <(>_<)7
