*No one's P.O.V*

The members of the Intelligence Unit were hard at work, desperately searching for anything that would lead them to the location of their suspect or where he was keeping Erin. The sound of heavy footsteps ascending the stairs pulled everyone's eyes from their screens.

"Jenkins' brother is in the interrogation room" Ruzek announced, Voight rising to his feet.

"Olinsky you are with me" Voight said, putting his gun in a lock box before making his way into the interrogation room with Olinsky right behind him.

The rest of the unit watched on anxiously from the observation room. Burgess and Roman stayed back in the squad room to await the call from the Medical Examiner.

"Thomas Jenkins. I am Sergeant Hank Voight, and this here is Detective Olinsky" Voight explained as he took his seat across the table, Olinsky choosing to lean against the two – way mirror.

"What can I help you with officers?" Thomas asks politely.

"Are you aware that your brother Vincent is a suspect in a serious of homicides?" Voight asked, looking up from the manila folder in his hands.

"Yes, I am" Thomas answered, sounding confused.

"Have you heard from him recently?" Olinsky asked, massaging the back of his aching neck.

"I haven't spoken to my brother since I got married eight years ago. He arrived at my wedding reception as high as a kite and then, as if that was not bad enough, he pulled a knife on my wife and me. He stabbed her in the stomach and doctors later told us that we would never be able to have children as a result. I will never forgive him for that" he asserted, the raw emotion evident in his voice.

"Is there anywhere he might go to lay low? Any place he feels safe?" Voight asked, leaning back in his chair.

Before he could answer, Burgess opened the door. "Serge we got an ID on that body. You are going to want to hear this" she said before retreating out of the room. Voight and Olinsky followed her.

"The victim from the explosion has been identified as Layla Jenkins. She is Thomas Jenkins wife" Burgess informed the unit who had gathered around her to hear what she had to say.

"Ok thanks Burgess" Voight said gratefully, turning to face the rest of his unit before continuing, "Olinsky and I are going to go back in there and break the bad news to him, the rest of you head back into the squad room and keep searching for anything that could suggest where this bastard is holding Lindsay." Everyone swiftly made their way back the squad room to continue working.
