*Jonah's pov* I pull up at the dormitories and follow Nicola up to her dorm. Why did I kiss her!? She is my best friend and that's it. We see each other as friends....but the thing is she pulled me closer and kissed me back. I'm such a idiot but it was in the heat of the moment and she doesn't seem phased by it I guess. We knock on the door with Cake covering our faces making us look like we just murdered a massive chocolate cake and Christina opens the door. "Well well well. If it isn't Jonah and Nicola. Took you two long enough it's nearly 12" Christina smirks "I need to get Daniel to pick me up because it's a rental car...he can get a Uber" I smile "Thank you so much for the night out Jonah...it was great to get away from this shithole" Nicola kisses my cheek and Christina wiggles her eyebrows at me "Thanks for letting me take you out..it was quite eventful" I let it a chuckle and Nicola blushes I pull out my phone and message Daniel and he agrees to come get me. I put my phone in my pocket and Christina passes me a face wipe while she gets it off Nicola's face. After a few minutes Christina's phone rings "Why is Corbyn calling you this late?" Nicola frowns and Christina shrugs She picks up and her jaw drops in horror. Her eyes glaze over and it was like she died. "Is he okay!? Is he alive!? Which hospital!? Okay we will be there as soon as we can!" She hangs up with tears streaming down her cheeks "What is it Christina?" Nicola follows Christina as she bolts around grabbing things "Daniel" was all she said and Nicola froze "No" she whispers "Please don't say that he..." I trail off as Christina nods "Jonah it isn't your fault" Nicola runs to me and puts a hand on my cheek "Yes it is" i whisper "No it isn't" Nicola whimpers and a tear rolls down her cheek We all dive into the rental car and Christina drives us to the hospital. We get into the emergency department and Corbyn was pacing around. He runs to Christina and lets out a giant sob. Nicola was staring into space and then I hear a whisper. "Olivia was in the car as well" Zach murmurs into my ear "No" I shake my head "They...he....Daniel tried to make her stay but she didn't want to" Zach shudders and then lets out a little whimper "Where is Olivia?" Nicola snaps back into reality and looks at us with wide eyes "We left her in the hotel....she was crying and she didn't want to see Daniel hurt" Zach lies and Jack, Gabriella and Angi send him a glare "You can't just lie to her Zach" Gabbie stands up and her hands curl into fists "Lie?" Nicola frowns "Nicola...listen" Jack walks to her side and puts a hand on her cheek "Jack please" she lets out a whimper "Olivia was in the car as well" he murmurs All the sudden my ears are filled with a bloodcurdling scream and Nicola was sinking to the ground in Jack's arms trying to get through the large doors separating her and Olivia. Nurses come storming into the emergency room and a doctor takes Nicola to a seperate room. I follow behind and Nicola was sobbing hysterically. "She is in shock" a nurse shouts "Nicola" I run over and put a hand on her cheek "No no no" she sobs "Nicola Liv will make it...she is strong" I rub my thumb under her eyes wiping away a few tears "I can't lose her" Nicola cries I wrap my arms around her and her arms wrap around my neck and she sobs into the crook of my neck. "I know Nic...you won't I promise" I rub her back and then Zach appears in the room Nicola dives into his arms and sobs hysterically into his chest. "She can't die...I can't lose her..she is all I have left" Nicola whispers "I can't lose her either Nic...she means so much to me and I have known her for like 3 days" Zach whispers running a hand through Nicola's hair "We have to go home" Jack walks into the room "What?" I look at him in shock "We are being forced to go home because people are waking up and complaining" Jack sighs I pull Nicola into my arms and cradle her as I walk out of the room. "I can't leave her" Nicola tries to climb out of my arms but I tighten my grip and power through everyone I shove Nicola into the seat and buckle her up and I climb into the seat beside her. She sobs into my chest as everyone climbs in and we drive back to the dorm. They all drop Nicola and I off and then they go to the hotel. I grab Nicola's hand and cover her mouth as we walk through the dorms. We get to the room and she dives I to the bed and starts screaming into the pillow. I climb in beside her and she sobs into my chest. After a few hours she finally wears herself out and she falls asleep. Her light snores fill the room and I drift to sleep thinking of how I would feel if it was Nicola instead of Daniel.
